It was snowing super hard outside and sushi box was one of the only places open and I decided to eat there, couldn’t have made a better choice. The workers here are super nice and friendly.

Our server gave us free miso soup, made the sushi fresh in the restaurant and talked to us like friends, and not just customers. The sushi is actually really fairly priced and delicious. I love this place.

Generous portions of sashimi!! Loved the sushi sashimi special order that can be customized. The California roll is delicious with crab salad & very little rice. Wasn’t expecting that & it was sooo good!! Super fresh salmon, squid, yellowtail & octopus, too! I will definitely be ordering again. God bless you & thank you for such a delicious meal!!

Such a gem to find! My mom and I were looking for a casual sushi spot and we loved this place. It was just one man working the counter and making the food. He was very pleasant and was handling the incoming customers by himself well. His rolls were great and so reasonably priced! We would love to come back!

The sushi is good, but we’ve had our online order wrong each of the last three visits. My partner and I love their ponzu sauce, but they make it extremely difficult to get. They charge an additional $0.50 per container, which we have no problem paying for, but we haven’t received any ponzu at all in our orders.

Today, we ordered a plate that states it comes with ponzu sauce, and at the bottom of the bag was a container labeled “Ponzu”, but was without a doubt just the usual extremely salty soy sauce.

I highly recommend the ponzu sauce, but just make sure you taste test in store to confirm it’s in your order if you pay for it.

I came to this location with high expectations and was looking forward to enjoying the food, but unfortunately my experience was overshadowed by an unprofessional interaction with staff.

While attempting to pay, I asked a simple question about the policy regarding bills larger than $50 because I wanted to understand and respect the business’s procedures. Instead of receiving a straightforward explanation, the employee responded by asking why I was “pressed” or upset and began speaking to me with an unnecessary attitude. My question was calm and respectful, so the response was both surprising and inappropriate.

When the manager became involved, the situation was not handled in a way that de-escalated the interaction or clarified the policy. Rather than focusing on resolving the misunderstanding and ensuring a professional customer experience, the interaction continued in an a way that felt dismissive and unhelpful.

If the business has concerns about counterfeit bills, it would be more appropriate to invest in counterfeit detection markers or similar tools rather than making customers feel uncomfortable when presenting legitimate currency. Your employees negligence, and ignorance to know the differences between legitimate and counterfeit currency should not fall on the customers that should fall on the irresponsibility of your employees.

Customer-facing employees represent the business, and professionalism is essential when interacting with the public. Customers should be able to ask questions about policies without being met with hostility or defensiveness. A simple explanation or acknowledgment of a possible miscommunication would have resolved this situation quickly.

Based on this experience, I strongly believe this location would benefit from additional customer service training and stronger leadership oversight when situations like this arise.

I’m sharing this feedback in hopes that it will be taken constructively and lead to improvements in how customers are treated at this location.

This place is small but the sushi is great.

I kept it simple with a veggie and geisha roll and left incredibly full.

The staff were very sweet and accommodating.

This is a great lunch spot.

I had a wonderful experience at Sushi Box. When I entered the restaurant, I had a specific sushi roll in mind, but it wasn’t on the menu. I shared the list of ingredients I wanted, and the team was happy to customize a roll for me.

I was truly impressed by the chef’s creativity and dedication. The chef suggested a roll thoughtfully and prepared it with such care—you could genuinely feel the effort and passion in every bite. The server was also extremely cooperative and attentive, making sure my preferences were fully met.

Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Sushi Box to anyone who truly enjoys sushi and appreciates great service. Definitely worth a try!

I’ve order takeout a few times and today I ate in the restaurant. It’s always reasonably priced and really delicious.

We tried one of the new specials today, the Avocado Bomb. It’s a flavorful ball of spicy tuna, spicy shrimp, and rice, topped with eel sauce, thin slices of avocado, and a sprinkle of popping roe. It ended up being my favorite dish that we ordered!

I got two classic rolls and a house salad. Both were incredibly mediocre. The in house dressing was not tasty, so I didn’t eat it. I’ve had grocery store sushi that was better. It’s also stuffy in the restaurant so I opted to eat outside.
