The food is fantastic! Wait staff is very nice. I would definitely come back. My husband and I got the shawarma platter and fries, the spices were perfect and packed with flavor, and the portions were plenty. Price was great too. 10/10 would recommend. Try their food!

My husband and I just had a lovely dinner at Pasha Rest & Cafe in Harrisonburg, VA. I think I just tasted the tastiest stuffed grape leaves and okra stew here. The okras were of a special variant, I reckon. I’ve never seen these kind of short & chubby okras. They were wonderful in stew. The veggies were so fresh.

The food is very good, and everything is labeled as Halal meat. However, the restaurant does serve alcohol and has a bar, giving it more of a lively, party style (For JMU) atmosphere rather than a family oriented setting. If you’re looking for a fully Halal environment for religious reasons, that’s something to keep in mind. Prices are a bit high, but overall the food quality is good The service is very friendly!

Wow, wow, WOW! What an awesome dining experience. Do not let the rough exterior and creaky benches fool you about this place, the food is so damned good, and my wife and I were really blown away. The owner/manager greeted us and checked in frequently, and let me tell you how awesome the food was. We ate tray number one, which is a meal for two, and it is just a MASSIVE plate of meat and veggies. It had 5 different types of meats, a variety of fresh and grilled veggies, three different sauces, and it served with a platter of rice. It was great. Run, don’t walk, to this great place.

Locals and Massanutten visitors!!! This place is an outstanding place to eat that warrants its excellent rating. The service is super friendly. The falafels were dark brown crispy with zero taste of burn. The lentil soup had a nice subtle taste and served at the perfect temperature. We had the chicken shawarma, beef shawarma and the chicken shawarma salad. Plentiful portions with perfect rice. I wanted to keep eating after I was full, but relented and took a take out box. Oh and the bread was fantastic. Yeah, I REALLY liked this place. And if you’re afraid of spiciness, don’t be.
Went back had Beef Shawarma Quesadilla, Chicken Shawarma wrap, and Pistachio Shish Kabob….ALL OUTSTANDING with big portions.

We were driving down Hwy 81 and looking for a nice place to break our long drive for dinner, and we couldn’t have been more fortunate to have stumbled upon Pasha Rest & Cafe. Just minutes from the highway, we pulled up and, honestly, paused, wondering if this was a good idea. It was dark and there’s no light-up sign outside, just a neon “Open” sign in the window. But, the thought of introducing our children to some authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food won out and in we went. I’m so glad we did! The food was PHENOMENAL! Our kids were beyond delighted, as were the hubby and I. The portions are so generous and everything – everything – is homemade. The stuffed grape leaves and hummus – to die for, and arranged so beautifully. We had lamb, chicken, and steak in just about every format offered on the menu. Not only were all of their traditional dishes just perfect, but even the French fries were top notch crispy and flavorful. The kids cleaned their plates, and asked if we could stop there again on our next road trip. Do yourself a favor – if you’ve not gone to Pasha Rest & Cafe try it ASAP!

Looking for authentic Mediterranean food and found this place. Lots of menu choices in all price ranges. Quantity of food was good for prices. Taste was amazing. Will be back to try more. We had lamb kabobs and the veggie platter which included grape leaves and the best falafel ever.

This place is absolutely incredible. One of my all time favorite places (and not just in Harrisonburg). I’ve eaten here multiple times, both dine in and carry out and they never fail to impress. If you come here with 3-4 people, get one of the entree sampler platters (I think the one we got was called Tray 1 on the menu, see pics). Anyways, cannot recommend eating here enough.
