Nice establishment. AMAZING food. HUGE selection of liquor. With Great service. Apps started with the pork rinds. Not my preferred taste or texture but the cheese sauce that accompanied it was delightful. My friend still devoured them. The blackened catfish, perfectly executed with seasoning, great tasting greens and the cheesy grits were to die for. the fish was perfectly cooked and topped with the holey trinity and crawfish etouffee that was just so desirable to the taste buds. The Pan roasted salmon was delightful as well with the fresh seasoned string green beans, perfectly fluffy mashed potatoes and salmon that was top tier. Everything was devoured and it was a great place to catch up with a friend and an even better place to score some phenomenal food. Worth every penny.

I have to rave about the amazing experience we had last night!! Subourbon has been on our list to visit forever and last night we finally visited and it surpassed our every expectation. First of all the staff; the host, our server, even the food runner were all incredible friendly & attentive! Our waitress gave us the best service I have ever had at a restaurant. She was so kind and really made our night.
Now let’s talk about the food, because it was incredible! Im from the Mississippi Gulf Coast, so I have high expectations when it comes to southern cooking, and let me tell you they are doing it right! We ordered the cornbread as an appetizer and it was so buttery with fresh pieces of real corn mixed in. For entrees we ordered the Catfish Po Boy and the Blackened Catfish. The cornmeal breading on the Po Boy literally brought a tear to my eye because it tasted just like the catfish my Mimi used to make. The blackened catfish was just as good and it was layered on top of some of the most savory collard greens Ive ever had.
But the piece de la resistance was the dessert. They happened to have Hummingbird cake on the menu last night, which is one of my favorites! But this cake?!?! It put all other cake to shame. It was nicely spiced with a barely sweet cream cheese frosting and delectable candied nuts. We should have got another piece to go!
We washed down all of our food with some well crafted cocktails. We had the Crescent City Hurricane & the Midnight Moon and both went down smooth! This would be a fun place to come for just cocktails!!
Overall I cant rave enough about our experience here and we will definitely be back soon!!

Subourbon knocked it out of the park. The food and atmosphere were amazing and the drink selection was the best for any bourbon enthusiast. My first time going and it will not be my last. I’d recommend the place to anyone who loves good food and enjoy a good pour of bourbon.

Came into Subourbon today with my partner for a late lunch/early dinner & had such a great time. Mike was our server. He was so sweet & very knowledgeable of the menu. Upon giving him outlr order, he told us we picked popular dishes. I had The Country Fried Chicken & my partner had the special Cod & Shrimp. We can see why they’re so popular! Very flavorful & just an overall amazing dish.
Oh! I almost forgot to talk about the apps! The pork belly, it literally melted in mouth so good. The fried green tomatoes my partner loved!

My wife and I love this place. The food is absolutely amazing and worth coming back. It’s a southern cuisine. It feels authentic with a familiar home cooking meets upscale restaurant. We ordered the devilled eggs and cheese dip for appetizers which were very good. The chicken dinner is absolutely incredible with the honey butter it’s topped with. I tried a variety of beers and bourbons and felt I had only got a small taste of what they had to offer. Definitely would recommend!

This place is quickly moving up my list of go to restaurants. First parking is easy, they have their own lot. They have the largest selection of bourbons I’ve ever seen. They have great happy hour deals on cocktails $7, wine $6, beer $5? And select apps for $7. The BBQ had some of the best flavor I’ve tasted with the right blend of spices and lemon, the gumbo was delicious perfect for a fall or winter day, the pork shank fell off the bone and was delicious and the grits were really good as well. I’m not from the south but this is what I imagine a good southern home cooked comfort food meal would be. We will definitely be back.
