This was my first time going there. I felt that the food was delicious! The pasta was perfectly cooked and the Alfredo sauce was so rich and thick and creamy. I was full and still kept trying to eat it. They are definitely generous with their homemade Caesar dressing. It was delicious too. And I ordered the white pizza because I heard that they have two new amazing chefs in the kitchen, just recently added, and they are right those crusts and pasta are delicious! I was greeted by a sweet young lady at the desk and seated immediately and my waitress was just so kind. I did keep getting checked on. There were quite a few people in the restaurant. I feel that the ambiance there was just very happy. Lots of smiles with the staff and I could see that the owner was walking around to the tables talking to people. Great happy smiling staff, fantastic food! I highly suggest that everyone please go and see what these new chefs are cooking up. It’s genuinely authentic stuff! My stomach didn’t get upset with their pasta either. I usually have a gluten reaction very quickly. I heard that they use Italian flour. (No round-up allowed in Europe!) I’m a fan.

I use to argue that Antonio’s had the best pizza in Wilmington. The last couple of times has been hit or miss. The pizza tonight was very disappointing. It was okay but the pepperoni didn’t even cover the pizza which is disappointing considering how much you pay for the pizza.

This had been our go to pizzeria after moving from New Jersey five years ago. On a weekend night, you’d have a problem getting a table at the bar or in the dining area. After ownership changed two years ago the place totally changed. We had stopped going altogether four months ago. We decided to give it another try last night and ordered a pizza. The girl on the phone was totally confused and it took forever to place the order. When I went in to pick up the pizza, there is no one working there over the age of 25 it seemed. Definitely no management to be found. The pizza was actually better than the last time we visited. The price seemed high at $24 for a medium pepperoni pie. We would definitely love to go back to eat dinner there again (especially the veal parm). Looking around I just couldn’t trust that there is anyone there with any type of culinary skill. Would be nice to see some adults working there again (and maybe a mgr).

We can’t say enough about Joe, the owner of Antonio’s Pizza and Pasta. After recently losing my mom, my dad was devastated to realize he had also misplaced his wedding ring — something deeply meaningful to our family.
The moment Joe learned what had happened, he immediately shared our concern and showed genuine compassion. He went above and beyond, stopping at nothing to help us search and problem-solve. Thanks to his persistence, kindness, and willingness to help in every possible way, we were able to find the ring. Without Joe, it simply would not have happened.
In a time of grief, his empathy and humanity meant more to us than we can put into words.
And to top it all off, the food was absolutely phenomenal — cooked to perfection, as always. Antonio’s isn’t just a great place to eat; it’s a place run by truly good people.
We are incredibly grateful.

The service was impeccable! The food was carefully prepared using very fresh ingredients. The entire staff were welcoming, friendly, polite, and knowledgeable about menu items. It’s a wonderful atmosphere with a hands on owner who knows many of the customers by name. The owner took the time to talk with us on a busy Friday night and went above and beyond to extend his appreciation for our patronizing his restaurant.
This was our first visit and this establishment exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to returning!

I feel like for a dinner portion and $26 the Alfredo should definitely be a bigger portion. If I would have eaten this in the restaurant and it had been this portion I would have been highly disappointed and brought it to their attention. That being said, everyone else ate pizza and loved it.

This is the 4th time I have received a undercooked slice. Brought it to their attention last time but nothing has changed. Please check your pizza before giving it to your customers. Also the pizza boxes smell like mold. Please address these safety issues.

Antonio’s is my #1 go to in Wilmington for Italian food. I love the Eggplant Rollatini and I’m never disappointed with their pizza. The new owner is very personable and he has top tier staff. The servers are very attentive and know the “regulars” on a first name basis. It’s a very inviting atmosphere. I’m already planning my next trip!

Casual, comfortable and clean. Welcoming, efficient and attentive staff. Outdoor dining available. Very family friendly. Love coming here, 10-plus years. Always good!
Chicken Parmesan is our favorite, plus the garlic bread with mozzarella cheese and chicken tenders.

I’m really not one to complain, however I do feel a little uneasy about Antonio’s in the past several months. In the past I would always choose Antonio’s to go have wine and pasta with my girlfriends or other couples in my neighborhood. This place is only about 6 minutes from my home.
In the last 8-10 months I have noticed a great deal of change. The staff are all wonderful and very pleasant.
I have encountered a man, that seemed like he could have been the owner visiting tables on a Friday night. I noticed that he takes a lot of time up at each table. I personally would not welcome this. When I’m dining with my girlfriends, we are enjoying our time and do not wish to be bothered. I was dining in about 2 weeks ago on a Friday evening and noticed this with several tables. He seems a little “handsie” with customers. He was a little too in the faces of others and violating personal space.
I find the food to be pretty good, not as good as it was a year ago and the prices have really gotten to be way too much for the portion sizes. I do love the wine selection. I’m very happy to see the bar well stocked with great spirits and craft beer as well.
I have seen and heard within the community that Antonio’s has really gone down since a new owner took over, I will have to agree with this! The menu has changed, the prices have gone crazy, and the hours have changed drastically. Closing at 8pm is unheard of for a place that serves such delicious pizza. No lunch during the week?? I don’t understand.
Every time I visit Antonio’s I am always welcomed by the beautiful ladies up front and have had several conversations with the tall lady, with black hair, and looks very professional, seems to be running the place. She is very knowledgeable about the restaurant, but doesn’t want to answer many questions about Antonio’s future. (As a community, we are concerned!) I can tell they all love their jobs.
The food is great!
Wonderful Service!
Ownership-Not so much!
