The restaurant was close to our hotel, so we gave it a chance. Ate from the lunch menu. I had the grilled cheese and ham with the chicken vegetable stew. The soup was good. The toasted ham and cheese sandwich was over cooked on one side and very salty. My wife had the bourbon burger. The burger was soggy with the sauce. She had the cottage cheese as her side was good. They were short staffed, having one waitress that was called in on her day off; she was running around trying to keep up.

Me and some friends were visiting from Bozeman & Colorado. And we are so glad we stopped by here for a drink and some appetizers after soaking in the hot springs. The jalapeño mozzarella sticks, spinach artichoke dip, and oysters were great! The young guy bartending was super polite and sociable. And the animals on the walls are so cool to look at! Thank you for a good time!

This was incredibly sad meal. I paid $20 for “hand battered chicken strips”. Frozen chicken strips from Walmart would have been better. My friend had the nachos…. They looked awful and he could not finish them. My daughter got a grilled cheese… It was cold.

Less than a stellar experience. Firstly, the hostess was going to sit our party of 5 at a table at a table for 4 because we had 2 kids with us, like somehow our kids are less than people and don’t deserve their own seats. When I explained to her that our kids, albeit little, are still people and need a seat she looked at me bewildered and reluctantly sat us at a six top. Mind you, we were the only ones there at the time, they weren’t in need of table space. We ordered the Rocky Mountain Oysters for an app and it was basically fried breading, hardly any meat. I had the sirloin for dinner, ordered medium rare but came out much more medium well. It was quite thin but was nicely seasoned so it wasn’t terrible. The atmosphere is pretty unique with a bunch of big wild game trophies in the bar and fishing trophies in the restaurant area. The saving grace here was our server, Brandon. He was attentative and very pleasant. If not for him, service would have been no stars. At the end, they wouldn’t even let us split our check, which is ridiculous. It’s a hard place to recommend but it is cool to see the animals and they do have good people like Brandon working there.

A hunters dream come true! We were looking for a place to stop on our travel and when you’ve got kids you often try to find fun places to keep them entertained. This did exactly that. It’s located inside the hotel and every wall is filled with animals of every kind. Of if you just stop in for a look it’s worth it because I doubt you’ll see a place like it again.

We got a few things but the deep fried mushrooms were some of the best I’ve ever had! The waiter was really sweet about our kids even though the area didn’t seem super kid friendly. We had a mistake with our order and it was an easy fix without any issues!

We had a fabulous meal. We got a Prime Rib, a New York, and a Sirloin steak, all cooked to perfection. Delicious horse radish as well. The fried mushrooms were the best I have ever had. And the clam chowder was very good. For a family of 5, with small children, I cannot recommend this enough. Amazing waitress and wonderful atmosphere.

The resturant atmosphere is amazing, fireplace, mounted animals all over. Beautiful restaurant. My problem is for the outrageous prices we were expecting great food. My husband ordered the meatloaf meal: a few spoons of mashed potatoes and a literal toddler portion of meatloaf. That’s it.
I ordered beef nachos: cheap hard stale chips and the most disgusting minced meat I’ve ever had, couldn’t eat more that 3 or four chips. My daughter ordered a 40 dollar steak med/rare. It came out looking like it was never put on the grill AT ALL and had the most horrendous smell. Like roadkill. It was rotten and was making my daughter gag just sitting in front of her smelling it. We asked for another one this time cooked longer
I had the waitress smell it and all she said was “I don’t know how it could be bad. They are cut daily”
Second one came out a little more cooked and STILL SMELLED LIKE DEAD ANIMAL! Needless to say we didn’t eat that steak or nachos and still had to pay 120 dollars for three people. We eat steak all the time and I have never smelled anything brought to me in a restaurant like that before. Not to mention the “Iced sweet tea” was literally clear. It looked and tasted like dirty ditch water. Also 6 dollars per glass. This was a horrible experience.

I really wish this had been a better experience, but it was disappointing from start to finish. The restaurant itself is extremely bright inside—not cozy or welcoming—but that was the least of the issues.

There were two bartenders, two servers, and (I assume) kitchen staff working, but our server, who seemed new, wasn’t getting any support from anyone else. She barely spoke to us, and I don’t blame her for struggling—it felt like no one was stepping in to help her.

The biggest issue, though, was the food quality and pricing. We ordered fried pickles for $10.99, and I kid you not, there were maybe 12 small pickle slices total. That’s basically a dollar per pickle slice, and they weren’t even good. The chicken strips and fries were $19.99. The chicken was fine (though not hot), but the fries looked like a child’s portion—we literally had maybe four fries each. I was honestly shocked the server brought it out without noticing how little food was on the plate.

Between that, two Busch Lights, and one cocktail, the bill came to $60 before tip. For what we got, that price was outrageous. This wasn’t about paying extra for a nice atmosphere either—the lights were blinding and the vibe was just off.

Overall, it was one of the strangest and most overpriced meals I’ve had in a long time. I left wishing I had asked for my money back.

This place is crazy they have so many animals stuffed it up on the wall they do try to give you 5 star service but this is Wyoming but this place is pretty tasty. I had the spinach and artichoke dip and fried mushrooms for a appetizer. Then for dinner I had a rib eye it was pretty tasty but over priced from other places eaten steak at. But it’s worth a stop just to check everything out I bet kids would get a kick out of it with all the different animals.
