Food was delicious and service was quick and kind. Had the mixed meats fajitas and this superb flan. They have popular churros that I look forward to trying next time.

I really enjoyed the artistic presentation of my tortilla soup. The soup is fantastic and very flavorful. Service is quick and very attentive. We love the atmosphere of this restaurant. Always a pleasure coming here for meals. Bonita Margarita is the best! Really enjoyed my seafood enchiladas tonight.

Came down to meet some friends for a “Taco Tuesday” thing. The place looked very cool. We met our friends in the bar so didn’t sit in the main area or have a look at the regular menu.

I had three crispy tacos with 3 different proteins. All 3 were very good but I think I liked the chicken the best.

Staff was friendly and helpful. We will be back to try more items.

Great happy hour food! A “mini macho burrito.” I had plenty of food to fill me up. Service was great. They served beer in a frosted mug and chips with a salsa, bean dip, and mushroom/garlic tapenade.

Ordered chile relleno & menudo. Let’s start with the positive! Sat down immediately. Clean atmosphere with traditional Mexican music. The good kind like Vicente Fernandez. Nice clean menus & booth. Took our drink order right away. Nicely brewed iced tea with lemon. They served chips with salsa, refried beans & a cold mushroom/red onion relish. It was good. The menu has lots to offer! I couldn’t make up my mind. I settled on menudo and my Husband, the chile relleno. The menu is served in a clay bowl piping hot (most restaurants don’t serve it proper but this one did!) Good portion. Served with lime, crushed pepper, jalapeños, oregano & onion. Your choice of tortillas. You have a choice of red or white menudo. I got red it was a bit tomatoey and I expected the smoky pepper base I’m used to. Tasty but $20 is a little steep. The chile relleno is served in a tomato sauce with beans and rice. Just 1 chili relleno and a dollop of beans & rice. Good taste we were expecting it with no sauce and more than one. Not the restaurants problem. Total was around $45. Servers were okay, I feel like it could have been better, like something was off, maybe the manager was taking orders or something? I heard one gal super nice speaking Spanish to the people behind us. Seems like they got a really attentive server. We asked for more chips, never got any salsa to go with them. Despite that I will definitely give this place a second chance. Dinner next time with some carne asada and margaritas or something?

Wonderful service, colorful and lively decor and “siesta”-feel atmosphere! Unlike typical Mexican/Latin restaurants they bring out a hot refried beans and cheese dip along with the typical complimentary salsa and warm house-made tortilla chips! Try the Cadillac Margaritas with choice salt or sugar rim as requested and the Ultimate Nachos.

Went here with my wife tonight, this used to be Aztexa restaurant. The staff seated us immediately, offered us either a table or booth. We were brought chips and salsa, we requested beans as well and that was no problem. The beans were very bland, no real flavor, but a little salt helped. We ordered steak and shrimp fajitas for 2, as well as a bowl of tortilla soup. The soup came and it looked very interesting. It had avocado pieces in it which was a new one on me, but it tasted very good. It was loaded with cheese and tortilla, it was flavorful and delicious. The steak fajitas on the other hand were very plain. No real flavor to speak of. It looked great, good colors, good smell, but the taste just wasn’t there. All in all I wasn’t impressed with the food, there’s a Mexican food place down at the water front called Casa Luna that has much better food and we will probably continue going there whenever we want Mexican food. Our bill was 50 dollars and some change, I tipped 10 dollars to the waiter because his service was great. He was very attentive, offered refills and took good care of us.

Now this is good food,!
I love robust flavors.
The chips and three dipping were places on the table right after we sat down. Followed by fresh iced cold water glasses.
I had the Santa fe chill reno and it was great, with rich flavors. Creamy sweet sauce.
The wife had the Carne Asada steak with a enchilada.
For desert we had the flan.
A sweat custard with a drizzle pour over the top.

Yes, I will come back!
