The Diamond Horseshoe restaurant is a visit back to the Old West. You’re dining near a stage with a player piano in a Music Hall located in Frontierland, and the meal here could be something served back in the olden days during the holidays. This is indeed a grand feast. You’ll start with a salad, moving to the main meal of pot roast, smoked pork loin, and roasted turkey. Your sides are seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, stuffing, and home-made macaroni & cheese. This is like a buffet, except your server will bring the all-you-care-to-enjoy food to your table. My friends rave about their salad and mac&cheese. I enjoy the meats with the stuffing, which sort of tastes and feels like Thanksgiving dinner. They have other options, like a plant based meatloaf, but personally, I’ve never liked any of that. Let’s get to my very favorite part of the meal. Dessert. You’re going to get a frying pan size helping of Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake, which is vanilla toffee cake, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce. Holy moly, you won’t believe how good this tastes. It’s the best dessert anywhere on Disney property, IMO. Pro Tip: order dessert first. It’s AYCE, so first or last, you’re paying for it. Ask for dessert first and also at the end. $45 per adult, $24 per child (Disney counts anyone ages 3-9 as a child.) and then add tax and tip. This costs less than other Disney AYCE style meals, although an entry ticket to Magic Kingdom is required. And obviously, you have to spend part of your theme park ride-riding time in a restaurant. Bathroom score: Because this building was built as “The Diamond Horseshoe Review,” a song and dance show on that aforementioned stage, there is no bathroom inside the restaurant. You walk outside to the public restroom. It’s not a far walk, but people act like animals in restrooms these days. Our wait staff has always been outstanding here- top of their game. You’ll really enjoy your meal here. Dessert first- thank me later.

I usually eat at the Liberty Tree Tavern next door, but they were all booked so I tried the Diamond Horseshoe. The place is basically just one wide open room and when I was there by myself, they sat me at a table for 5 in the middle of the room, which just felt uncomfortable. Kinda like the kid who sits alone in the cafeteria at school because they have no friends. The food and staff are great, but I will go back to the Liberty Tree Tavern for a much more cozy feel (and its the exact same food)

Maybe nothing special for atmosphere, BUT we loved the unlimited food and great service! Our first ever Disney experience for family of 5, and day 1 was magic kingdom. Our kids were wiped by 4:30pm and this was the only “reservation” we could get last minute as an early sit down dinner. We were able to get a much needed a cold beer for us parents and we loved the food for being actually fairly healthy and hearty. Excellent service, I would definitely do this again if we visit DW again!

One of our favorite family style full service food options at Magic Kingdom park!

Great also for special holidays like 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day dinner.

All you can eat style roast and mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, etc.

Cool colonial style theatre and plenty of open seating for great views.

Bonus: the dessert here (all good shared with Liberty Tree Tavern) is BEST dessert on Disney property: warm chocolate chip cookie topped with heath bar and vanilla ice cream. So good! 🙂

This is probably the best value for money for lunch.
All-you-eat family style meal.
The bread is okay but the entree was great.
The Pot Roast, Turkey and Pork were all cooked well. Stuffing and mashed potatoes were spot on.
It’s nice to get away from burgers, chicken tenders and fries!
The Toffee Cake was amazing and the start of the meal!
Service was super friendly and accommodating. Offering refills of food.
The only reason I give Atmosphere a 3 Star is because you can tell it used to be much better when there was live performances (instead of an automated piano) and if they sat people upstairs.
Overall good value for Disney. Pack in the food for lunch and all you will need is a light dinner from quick service window.

We love Disney but this was not one of our favorite eating places the food was just OK. The stuffing really did not taste like good stuffing. The pot roast was not good either it was more like shredded beef instead of like a traditional pot roast. The rest of the food was OK but not for the price. Once they bring the food out unless you eat really fast, the food gets cold on the table. It would be much better if they just had the food served as a buffet so that you could go back and forth at your leisure the service was good, but it just could not make up for the taste of the food and the food being cold once you stop eating, the rolls were good and the salad was good unfortunately this would be our first and last time at the diamond unless they change the format.

The servers were very nice, but the initial service was slow. We waited, probably 10 minutes for drink orders. Once we were seen, the food arrived pretty quickly, and they were able to accommodate my wife’s special diet. The food was good, especially the pot roast. They serve alcohol at this venue. I wish they still had the live show, or at least the player piano actually worked. Overall, it’s good, but I don’t think it meets the level of expectation.

Let me start off by saying, NOT WORTH THE MONEY! it’s beautiful inside and all, but the rolls are like store bought ones, the mashed potatoes are on the Mac and cheese is mediocre and the turkey was dry! There were so many empty tables yet it took us forever to get seated after we missed our reservation by five minutes (due to haunted mansion breaking down per usual 🙂 don’t mean to be rude at all because I love Disney world! But I also value other Disney fans who are already spending a fortune to eat! Thanks!

One star because the server was great and another because it was food.

What was good? The salad was really good, which was great! The Sam Adams IPA. My kid seemed to like the Mac N Cheese also.

Can’t win them all. My honest experience; I ordered a sangria and didn’t drink because it was very watered down with very little flavor (the picture included was all we drank of it). I requested a taster of the cabernet and was denied. I ordered the cab anyway and sent it back after the first taste because it was heavy vinegar. Beef, chicken, turkey, pork and stuffing were just like the thanksgiving dinner from elementary school. Vanilla ice cream tasted like it was scooped from one of those big 2 gallon buckets made for volume and not flavor. The toffee cake tasted like a big packaged cookie that had sat in a shipping container too long, we didn’t eat that either after the first bite.

You could eat all you wanted yeah but nah, no way. I am very glad I ate here so I will never do it again, and that’s okay

If you’re looking for the best value of all you care to enjoy dining within Magic Kingdom, this is it. It’s a family style meal and the food is all pretty good and the service is fantastic. Keep in mind the Liberty Tree Tavern next door serves the same menu so either is a good option.
