This morning, I took my daughter to Pinstripes at Hillsdale Mall for their “Brunch with Santa” event, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and festive the perfect blend of elegant and family-friendly that made the experience feel truly special. The food was genuinely good not just “event food,” but the kind of quality brunch you’d seek out on any weekend. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, with enough variety to please both kids and adults. But what really made the morning unforgettable was how they handled Santa’s visits. Rather than the typical long line approach, Santa made his way to each table, giving every child unhurried, personal attention. My daughter’s face lit up, and I loved that we could enjoy our meal while Santa took the time to really connect with her. You could tell the staff had put real thought into creating an experience that felt magical without feeling rushed or transactional. The team at Pinstripes clearly understands that these moments matter they’re creating memories families will treasure. If you’re looking for a holiday experience that combines excellent food, a beautiful setting, and genuine care for making children feel special, I can’t recommend this highly enough. We’ll definitely be back next year!

Comfortable seating with good choices of salads, freshly made omelettes, typical breakfast dish, hot dishes and carving station serving prime rib and ham. The dessert is quite limited. Found a few group coming here to celebrate birthdays. If you are looking for a relaxing atmosphere serving buffet style brunch and more, this is a good choice. Reservation is recommended.

This buzzing spot is wonderfully spacious, and the servers are fantastic. The chicken and goat cheese pasta was out of this world – the rosemary and black pepper lingered beautifully with each bite. The chicken wings were juicy, crisp, and just the way they should be. I held back a fifth star only because the warm brownie arrived not-so-warm and had to be sent back.

Bottomless spaghetti Mondays are back at Pinstripes! This review is specifically for this special. We used to go semi-frequently before they took it off their weekly specials, but we recently checked their website and saw that it was back!
It’s great value (or am I Bay Area-jaded?) for the amount of food you get, even if you don’t get any refills. The spaghetti sauce is reaaally good (even my mom likes it!) and they cook the pasta to a perfect al dente. The meatballs aren’t too dense or greasy.
It takes some time to get a refill, so I’d recommend asking for your next plate when you’re still working on your current one if you’re trying to maximize appetite.
We had Patrick as our server today and he was great! He checked on our table frequently and was friendly and attentive. He also informed us that they just updated the menus, so there are new items on the list.
We’ve been to Pinstripes for regular brunch and dinner a couple of times, and it’s always a great stop. We’ll be back for another Mama Mia Monday soon!

I came for dinner with a coworker and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food. The cobb salad was delicious and the brownies actually feel like a sin. If you’re in the mall area this is a nice spot for lunch or dinner. I highly recommend this establishment.

Nicely decorated and very conveniently located in Hillsdale mall. I loved that despite the overflowing crowd, their service was so prompt and perfect. The turnover is fast and so even though we showed up on a busy Sunday evening, we got seating after a very short wait.
They have a nice selection of wines for all palates. My husband ordered Pinot Noir while I ordered a mildly sweet & bubbly Riesling and we loved ours. The Cast Iron Pesto Focaccia turned out to be an excellent started. For mains we had the Spicy Crispy Chicken sandwich and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. The latter was on a deal and so we got a huge plate at half the price ! My children also ate the kids cheese pizza and loved every bit of it. Overall great experience and we will certainly return for more !
ADD ON: we returned for more and the weekend brunch buffet this time and it sure was good ! It had myriads of brunch hot and cold items, a great spread of desserts and bottomless mimosas. Loved it !

The food was good, and I dropped a star due to the dessert. The dessert appeared to be brought in, ready made, not made in house. Superfood salad is a winner! The Lobster Mac n cheese was fantastic.

Amazing experience! Commuted from San Jose for our children to have ‘Breakfast Buffet with Santa’. Food was fresh, customer service was top tier & Santa personally walked around to each table, asked the kids what they wanted for Christmas, had a small personable conversation with them and hit the next table. Our girls personal favorite was the chocolate fountain with strawberries. Huge hit for them and our nieces. Worth it to come again next yr!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a girls’ day. My friend put our names on a list earlier that day, and I was waiting for them to reply when an available spot would be open, but since it was getting late, we decided to just do a walk-in. Well, the name makes sense, but when you walk in, if feels like a bit more upscale Yard House restaurant than a play area. I didn’t even get to see the bowling alleys because they were upstairs and hidden away. When I walked up to use the restroom, it was full of graduation parties and other celebrations. Everyone dressed really nice.

Chicken and goat cheese pasta: This was delicious but there were like 3 tiny pieces of chicken. Sad. Wish we had more bang for our buck here.
Margherita pizza: Tasted good although salty. I wondered if it was the cheese. When my cheese fell off, I tried it alone. Turns out, the tomato sauce on this was overly salted. I dipped the crust in the ranch that came with our apps.
Calamari: Nice breading, crispy, and had a decent portion. I like when calamari is thin and breaded.
Truffle fries: Crispy and tasty when it was fresh. I liked that it wasn’t too greasy nor doused in truffle oil.
For the drinks, we got the puccinis and the Tuscan sangrias. They weren’t particularly strong but they were refreshing! The servers gave great recommendations.
I’d love to come back for mimosas and/or happy hour. My friend saw chocolate fountain inside and got excited, but I think that’s only for brunch.
