My 5 yr old wanted sushi for dinner and I try to support local businesses. We were less than impressed and will not be going back. For the price, the portions were rather small. The hibachi was over seasoned with soy sauce and incredibly salty. Husband said that he had had microwave Lo Mein better than what he got in the order. Wanted a Traditional Philadelphia roll (smoked salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber) then was up-charged to substitute cucumber for avocado, the cucumber was big pieces and SOO bitter. Get home and there is no shrimp sauce in the bag, had to turn around and go back. Let them know that the sushi wasn’t very good and the staff was polite but let me know that they couldn’t “void” the charges since I had already paid. Mind you, I never asked for a refund, etc. We won’t be going back.

We didn’t enjoy this place at all. We got sat at a table that was filled with food on the seats and spilled soda on the floors. Like others have said, this isn’t a good sushi spot. 95% of the rolls have cream cheese in them. The worst part was it was probably 85 degrees inside, when you’re serving raw fish it should not be that hot inside and we should not be sweating while we eat. Lastly, not that big of a deal because I normally don’t even eat fortune cookies, but all the fortunes were the same. Won’t be back.

Absolutely delicious!! I was excited to try the sushi nachos and they did not disappoint. I tried a bite of tofu from my friends bento box and it was so flavorful. I was impressed by the decor. I loved the variety and unique sushi options. They have a buffalo sushi roll. I will absolutely be coming back. I am bummed they have Pepsi… But the mtn dew was crisp and refreshing.

Me and my wife went there for lunch to eat some habatchi and it was bathed in soy. That’s all we tasted was the soy sauce….I asked if we could get without them putting the sauce in it. We already waited 35 min to get the food then they said it be another 20 to 30 to get the rice. I don’t know why so slow it wasn’t busy. We left I personally wouldn’t have charged the customer for the drinks after this whole thing but they did. I will never go back. Worst food I’ve ever had in my life.

My wife and I had lunch here yesterday. Waitress was very nice, food was very good, came out fast. I had the Bento Box, which I think is the best deal. Comes with sushi, carrots, rice, and your choice of steak or chicken. She got sushi, then we split the fried Oreos. I was skeptical about the Oreos but they’re really good. I recommend getting the Oreos on a first date. Get messy, no silverware, show the new prospect what you’re made of lol.

A huge step up for Greeneville as far as sushi and hibachi go! The house soup was well flavored. The house salad was extraordinarily fresh. The special for the night was the Holy Smoke roll, which is pictured. The roll held perfectly while I ate it with chopsticks. It was delicious. The perfect amount of spice and cream cheese. The ginger was fresh as well! My husband ordered the shrimp hibachi and said it was all delicious. He also said it was the best hibachi that he has had in quite a while. I’m so excited to have Nova’s in Greeneville!!! It’s a very welcome addition!!!!

We love this place! It’s a great place for real sushi at a decent price. Other food like their tofu and edamame are excellent as well. My husband is pretty much vegan and I often eat vegetarian so this is our go-to place for special occasions, and when I just don’t want to cook and am hungry for sushi. Best sushi this side of Osaka! And yes, we lived there.
