I’m from Florida home of food like this. I ordered the catfish and shrimp dinner which comes with fries, hush puppies , bread and slaw. I ordered some gumbo on the side. The dinner was $15.99 which isn’t a bad price and the portion was good. The food was hot and pretty flavorful, can’t really complain. The gumbo was $4.95 and while ok not very flavorful. I gave a tip of $5. So a total of $25 but was charged $31 and some change.

The food is terrible I ask for lemon pepper wings fried hard and this is what I got!! The wings were greasy on the parchment paper. I wouldn’t recommend coming here for food. I tried it won’t be back‼️

This is a great place to eat if you want a dine and theme. The food is hot and very very good( especially with their hot sauce), and the owners are amazing. I recommend that anyone comes and tries this place at least once.

Haven’t been to Shrimp Hut in a long time. You need to close your door. The fish I got today is fake fish. I don’t know what happened to the older people that used to work there. I had to make the young lady speak.

Great food! Hidden gem. Best fish and wings so far in my last 4 years at Indy. Black owned, so make sure to support your local business. Excellent service, can’t wait to go back. I am from Costa Rica, and its not easy to find good fish for us, so make sure you order you some.

I purchased a perch dinner called the order in at 8 :05 pm got there at 8:30 only to get old French fries told the gentleman the fries was old he denied it. I wished I could of taking my tip back and kept my receipt they lost me as a customer the food use to be good maybe in the morning is better. I guess someone else called a order in for the same thing. Instead of cooking my order fresh he gave me a hour old dinner. Go at your own risk at nights !

Reopened in New location. Really good seafood. Fried green tomatoes are in really good batter, but sliced too thin to enjoy. The fish is fried perfect, and restaurant is clean. Definitely worth the money.
