this is my favorite Chinese food place in town. I haven’t been able to have it in awhile ( medical / dietary reasons ) and on Christmas my family ordered it. I only had an itty bitty amount, and today my husband brought me in for lunch.
I’m a few weeks post op and got to talking with Sandy, and she made all sorts of suggestions to help me better pick and choose menu items I can safely eat. she was so kind and exchanged numbers with me so she can help whenever.
I really appreciate businesses and workers like this.

I had the #1 hot and spicy garlic chicken with fried rice and vegetable chowmain, oh man it was very flavorful. I also got the potsticker and egg rolls ((delicious)) the hot and sour soup was a big hit for me. My hubby got the #9 szechuan chicken with chowmain, he was very satisfied with his meal as well it has a good spicy kick to it. As for customer service, it was wonderful. Food: standard for a Chinese place, it tastes good because there’s a lot of flavor and oil. Ordered the four season string bean and vegetable stir fry, both were fine, exactly what we expected. Decent portions, had enough to pack for another meal.

Very lovely place, very important with this hit weather in the area of Modesto, CA they have A/C !!! They also play very serene music which make the experience relaxing while you eat they have large capacity round tables. We ate a family of 8 and we fit perfectly.

We won’t be back. Last time we ate here it was $59 for 3 persons. This time it was $92 for less food. What used to be crab cheese wontons are, I believe, now called crab puffs, the filled area is now just slightly bigger than a dime. The egg flower soup is super chunky like they cut up a fried egg and put it in the soup. The egg rolls taste strongly of vinegar. The fried rice seems more like steamed rice that they threw a small amount of meat and vegetables in and forgot to season it. The sweet and sour pork they give to you plain with a small side of sweet and sour sauce; the vegetables, pineapple, and pork are not cooked together, the pineapple is raw from a can. The food itself is absolutely horrible now.

Service is friendly. It’s under new management but definitely will not return. The rice is not fried. No flavor. Chow mein tastes smoky, not traditional at all. And the prawns are crumb coated frozen shrimp. Broccoli beef is so bland. Not worth the money anymore. So sad. Was our Go-To before. Now we need a new place.

I’ve had a lot of Chinese food places as it’s my favorite kind of cuisine and when I’m in Modesto this is my go to always super nice and super tasty the pricing you can’t beat with large portions for two under $14 it’s an amazing place I highly recommend it over any other place
