Had supper with my Dad tonight! Super nice young girl waited on us. Quick to take our order. Food came fast and it was outstanding! She was quick with refills and with asking if we needed anything. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or supper. Great portions for your money!

Definitely worth a visit if you’re traveling through Central City sometime. The decor is the best I’ve seen in any family restaurant and it’s one of the cleanest places I’ve ever visited. Everyone in our party (a group of four people) enjoyed the food immensely. The only real issue was with service. While it was friendly, it was unfortunately slow. That appears to be an under-staffing issue, since the restaurant was very busy when we dined there and only one waitress was available. Still, it was a positive overall experience, and I would return there in the future.

Very good food! I had the fish sandwich and my husband had the hot beef! Both were delicious! I had a salad with ranch dressing and the ranch dressing is so delicious and home made! We will definitely be back again!

We love Stove House! Great home cooked meals. Reasonable serving sizes and great prices. Great variety of meals, especially for a small town restaurant. Great service! We stop every time after we visit Pinicon Ridge. It is worth the drive from Cedar Rapids!!! My favorite is the chicken melt. I got chicken fingers for my daughter and they were mostly chicken, not too much breading.

Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by this place. I got their Western Omelette with hashbrowns and it came piping hot to the table. It took a little time to get but it was worth it. The omelette was nothing special, but it was still tasty, and the hashbrowns were delicious, I’m pretty sure they were browned in butter, which is the way to go. The whole place was very clean and the decor was nice. A nice down home diner, I’ll definitely be going back when I’m up that way!

This is a damn good place to eat. It ain’t a Michelin 5 star. Its Iowa rural five star. The two of us had a home style dinner with hot fudge sundae for 20 bucks. Basic. Tasty. Economical.

Great family restaurant, your greeted when you enter and have never had more then a ten min. wait to be seated. The servers are very friendly and accommodating. Very good food, generous servings. Great family restaurant.

Food and service were very good. The ice tea was disappointing – it was barely colored water. Since they have recently opened we chose to say nothing and deal with it. We had hoped our refill would be better but still the same.

This place is now the Farm House Diner. We had the “Pressed Pig” which is a breaded pork tenderloin sandwich, with fries and coleslaw. It was a great sandwich, and the fries were great too. Daughter got the Reuben sandwich and she really liked it. SIL had the Philly steak ‘n cheese; said it was good; grandkids had breakfast for supper. Good food and good prices!
