⭐️⭐️=Fine, but not recommended (1=Avoid, 3=Standard, 5=Can’t Miss). Pricey for what you get. You could make a case for 3 stars is if you wanted a burrito or some of their $10 happy hour items (available after 2pm) to go. But I agree with some other reviews that this place is somewhat lacking in flavor. Parking is also a little inconvenient as this spot is on El Camino, so you have to look for parking either behind the restaurant or along Santa Cruz in downtown Menlo Park. For lunch we ended up spending more than $30 per person, which is why I think it’s fair to give this place 2 stars without being too negative because although the portions were good, the price was not.

Atmosphere was very nice! Our server was exceptionally attentive to our needs, but the food lacked in quality and flavor. The meat was of lower quality than described, and very stiff. The queso was the best part of the meal!
The place was empty. That should’ve been a clue for us to go somewhere else.

Was able to walk right in and sit down. Quick and friendly service.
I ordered the Pollo Al Chipotle. I loved the rice and the sauce was fine but the chicken itself was tough and I didn’t enjoy the flavor of it.
Tamarind margarita was pretty good.
The overall experience was fine but expensive for the quality of the meal.

Loved this restaurant. Perfectly balanced traditional dishes with that elevated taste that you can’t find anywhere else. You have to try the cochinita pibil!!

Friendly and helpful staff. We were looking for patio sitting and found this from Google map. Their patio was reserve for a party but they found a solution for us.
Fish tacos, mariscada and ceviche mixto were very good. Kid’s meal is decent portion.
Strawberry margarita was super.
Pet friendly

I got the Al Pastor Torta and it was sooooo delicious and melted in my mouth. I loved the chipotle aioli sauce too & the grilled pineapple- it added so much flavor. Staff was also so welcoming and nice! Service was also fast! Definitely will be coming again. ♥️

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve visited in the Bay Area. Fresh ingredients and good cooking can be tasted in all the dishes available. Would highly recommend bringing the whole family or a group to try a bit of everything. Great place for lunch or dinner

This is my absolute favorite Mexican restaurant! I recently had a birthday dinner of 20 people in the back patio area and not only was the food amazing, the staff was so helpful and accommodating. There are plenty of options for vegetarians (my favorites are the tostada salad and fajita quesadillas but the mole enchiladas are also amazing!) and meat eaters alike. The drink options are many and my friends loved the mango and spicy margaritas. The waiters are extremely kind, respectful, and fun! Maraisa especially is the best and got us the best spot in the restaurant. Don’t sleep on this place!

Outdoor and indoor seating, bright, friendly restaurant. Super fresh, super delicious, and not too heavy or greasy. Only one type of salsa with hint of fresh jalapeno and cilantro. Otherwise, ask for jalapeno on the side for a spicier kick. A great place to relax and enjoy real Mexican food.

Great Mexican restaurant with homely ambience for casual dining. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. I especially liked mango Margarita, pastel azteca cake and Chile Rellano with chicken. Ceviche de pescado and carne a la tampiquena was very good too. Must try if you live nearby.
