I visited Branches last summer on a whim and tried the Jerk Chicken tacos. They were incredible, but only available on the summer feature menu. I waited an entire year to go back and finally returned this past week. The tacos were just as delicious as I remembered. I ordered them with a side of chips with bacon dip, also delicious. The Bang Bang Shrimp, another summer feature, did not disappoint. To top it all off, we shared what I’m convinced might be the best carrot cake in Sherwood Park. Lastly I tried their Italian soda for the first time, and it was the perfect refreshment for a hot day on the patio, not too sweet, with lots of flavour options to choose from. From the food to the drinks, the relaxed patio atmosphere, and the attentive service, everything about our visit was spot on. A full 10/10 experience. Highly recommend!

Thursday afternoon outing. Very organized and well trained group of workers. A shout out to “Hay Bails.” Had the layered cheese bread. Delicious. 14.70$. Will go back and try a few others…only downfall was the carrot cake dessert the person i was with had. It had pineapple in it. (Big pieces and it was more hard than moist. )

Branches Fresh Food Experience is a hidden gem that perfectly blends nature and dining. The restaurant is uniquely designed with a beautiful nursery on one side, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The nursery itself is a delight, especially for kids, with a charming moving train that adds a fun touch.
As for the food, it was excellent! We tried the artichoke dip, which was creamy and flavorful, the Asian stir-fry, which had a great balance of flavors, the chorizo bowl, which was hearty and delicious, and the waffles, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Every dish was well-prepared and full of fresh ingredients.
Overall, Branches offers a wonderful experience—great food, a relaxing ambiance, and a touch of nature that makes it stand out. Definitely worth a visit!

Four of us had brunch in late October. We arrived around 11:30 and were seated right away. It got pretty busy soon after. Our servers were great, as was all the food – mains and desserts . We much recommend Branches for a meal.

I went to Branches today with my Mom and aunt for my aunt’s birthday. The service was a bit slow but they were also pretty busy. However, the food was just mediocre. I had soup, bread and half Caesar salad. The salad dressing was extremely anchovie forward. It completely overwhelmed the salad. I passed on finishing it. Part of my aunt’s lunch was the cheese bread. She offered some to us to try. The cheese was lovely, however the dough of the bread seemed to semi raw and doughy, but edible. My mom’s meal and the rest of our meal was alright, but nothing outstanding. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as good as we had been anticipating for the lunch.

Have been to Branches many times in the past and have had very good food and excellent service.
This past Sunday I was telling my friend how great the place is.
I was so embarrassed that our experience was so terrible that I know for sure that she will never recommend it, and I as well will never set foot in it again.
Our young female server never once offered to refill our water or cocktail glasses even after seeing them empty.
The food suffered greatly. My polenta tasted as if it came from a box, lumpy and milky on top, salt & pepper wings with no seasoning and extremely dry and over cooked.
We had ordered two pizza’s to go. She stated that she would put our order in so they would be ready to go with us.
I had to go up to the cashier to remind them, all in all, the worst experience ever in a restaurant that prides itself in good food and service.
I would have to be starving to go back there.
Please do better and do it without racism if you can manage.
Our tab to $102. and change, I tipped $10. even though they were not worthy of it.
Approximate time was 5:30pm

Today was the first time I had the pleasure to dine at Branches. The atmosphere was perfect. The food was above and beyond with prices were more than reasonable. The chicken marsala crepes were the perfect meal on this cooler day and the scone for dessert was so tasty another was ordered to take home to enjoy tomorrow. Service was timely and professional. My guest and I will back soon to enjoy another offering. Thank you for taking such good care of your customers. A true heartwarming experience.

This restaurant is in such a beautiful setting. We were lucky to be seated right away even though it was pretty full. We waited a while before someone came to our table. Unfortunately, the woman was in such a foul mood that it brought down the vibe. I ordered the breakfast pizza while my partner got a sandwich. When he asked what the sides were, he was told, “fries, salad, nothing special.” Not quite the answer we were looking for, especially as first time diners to this establishment.
Much like the service, our food took quite some time to arrive. I can’t imagine the wait when it’s actually busy. Luckily the saving grace was our actual server. He was great and super friendly. And the food was delicious.

We all ordered different dishes so we could try a variety. Going round the table the ratings were 9, 6.5, 5, 9.5 and 7 out of 10. So a very mixed experience.
We thought coming on a weekday would make it less busy but it still felt like a Saturday. But good on them for being busy.
The lemon basil was very refreshing and the menu had a decent selection.
