We hosted our Valentine’s Karaoke Party at Dear Delhi Banquet, and the evening turned out to be truly memorable for all our participants.
The setup was beautifully done and perfectly suited for a musical celebration. The décor created a warm Valentine’s vibe, and the space was arranged in a way that allowed everyone to enjoy both the performances and the company. It felt festive yet intimate — just right for a karaoke night filled with love and music.
The food was consistently delicious throughout the event — fresh, flavorful, and served on time. Our guests appreciated the quality and variety, which added to the overall experience.
What stood out most was the staff’s cooperation and professionalism. They were attentive, flexible, and supportive throughout the evening, ensuring everything ran smoothly while we focused on the performances and our participants.
It was a joyful Valentine’s karaoke celebration, and we’re grateful to the Dear Delhi team for helping us create such wonderful memories.

This place is a good spot for a nice dinner! The food, service, and atmosphere are all good. There are a few standout cocktails, like the “Jaaneman,” which is sweet and refreshing, and the “Bhund,” which is semi-sweet. The rest of the cocktails were just okay. The “Spicy Whiskey” was definitely the highlight, with its unique blend of spices like clove, cinnamon stick, and bay leaves. It was a refreshing and flavorful drink. The appetizers were also good, including the chilly potato and masala kabob. However, the non-vegetarian platter and paneer tikka could have been better. For the main course, I tried the Moti Mehal butter chicken, goat biryani, Chicken Andhra, and luccha parantha. All of these dishes were delicious and worth trying. Overall, this is a great place to enjoy a good dinner just by yourself or with family and friends.

I went out for lunch this afternoon with my mother and son. We ordered butter chicken, malai kofta, garlic naan, mango lassi, and lemon soda.

Unfortunately, the butter chicken was the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken smelled so bad that it felt like it had been cooked months ago—it was rubbery and completely inedible. I almost threw up at the table. The malai kofta was just okay, and the naan was overly soft and seemed undercooked. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would strongly suggest staying away and spending your hard-earned money elsewhere.

I was actually planning to order food from this place for my son’s birthday and decided to try it first. Thankfully, I did—this visit saved me from a lot of embarrassment in front of my guests. To make matters worse, my stomach has been hurting since eating the food.

Definitely not recommended

We had a Farewell Party for one of our Colleagues here and we had a great time. We had a private area assigned for our group, and the Bartender did a great job. He was attentive and friendly, and ensured we all had a good time. Service overall was efficient. Appetizers tasted very good, but the Entrees were only above average, still it might be on us since most of us were already feeling stuffed with the Appetizers we had.

There was also Live Music at the Dining area, and we got to listen to some great songs and relax as a group.

Amazing place for food and service. We love this place and order from here frequently. It was first time to visit this place and we were not disappointed. Food is on point, servers are polite and helpful, atmosphere is nothing something super fancy but decent. We had their makhan malai soya chap and hot and sour soup for appetizer and i am in love with makhan malai soya chap. If you are vegetarian and wanna try something different, this is worth trying. Love their veg Kolhapuri curry, very tasty and spicy than you think. After a long time i ate pretty decent veg Kolhapuri. Their lentils and paratha were fresh and good. They have few cocktails but we liked jugaad cocktail much better thn bhund cocktail. Overall, I recommend to visit or take out from this place.
Note: My friends had caters from this place and all guests loved it. They customized some dishes for catering order.

Food was disappointing! Food pics on the website looked amazing and we were looking forward to dining here. We ordered Dahi kabab, okra fries, paneer tikka, palak patta chat, Amritsari kulcha, tomato soup, mango lassi, garlic naan and paneer tikka masala (gravy).
Dahi kabab and okra fries were not fried well. They looked and tasted uncooked. You could taste the raw flour. Palak chat was alright but the dahi used was watery which made the chaat a bit soggy. Paneer tikka was tasted good and was definitely better than the rest of the apps. Tomato soup, kulcha, garlic naan and paneer tikka masala were alright.
I would definitely not recommend this place or go back here.

Very interesting Indian restaurant, rather different from what we are all used to in NJ whenever Indian restaurants are concerned.

It’s a stand-alone modern building of streamlined design, not your average strip mall eatery. The interior design is equally upscale, there are booths and regular table seating available. The furniture is new, there are no cheap Formica tables.
The lounge we haven’t been to, so the review is about the restaurant section of Dear Delhi.
The only disconcerting element is a sizable TV blaring either American pop or contemporary Indian music.

There is a lot of parking, next to the main side entrance or at the back of the restaurant. There is also an outdoor dining section for nicer weather.

The menu is different too, not just the ubiquitous Chicken Tikka Masala or Malai Kebab. There are a few things on the menu that we haven’t seen in any other Indian restaurants in the area, and we have visited dozens and dozens of restaurants specializing in Indian cuisine. Yes, we shall call Dear Delhi “a new Indian restaurant” indeed.
The food is flavorful, and tolerably spicy, with the portion sizes on a not all that generous side. But the lower prices make up for that.

The service is very friendly and for the most part efficient.

“Dear Delhi” features a full alcohol menu as well as non-alcoholic beers and mocktails.

The location is off Route 130, in what is alternately called either Dayton or South Brunswick.

Recommended.

Here’s a quick review you can use:

Had a great experience at this Indian restaurant! The service was excellent, and the food was incredibly flavorful. I loved that the menu included some unique options and flavors I haven’t seen at other Indian spots. The place was clean, and the addition of a bar was a pleasant surprise—definitely not something you find at most Indian restaurants. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something delicious and a little different! We had the Dear Delhi Chat (app), Methi Chicken, Delhi Ka Kebab Paneer.
