Tiny pizzeria with an old-school diner feel that also offers a variety of Italian specialties.

Stoped in at Antonio’s on Washington Ave., North Haven, CT. Sunday afternoon, place was clean and staff was friendly. Ordered a large calzone with meatball and sausage filling. I asked the waiter we were thinking of splitting a large was that big enough for two? He said yes so we did just that ordered the large. Food arrived and immediately I saw that his advice was right on. Plenty big enough for us to split. Calzone was excellent stuffed with ricotta, mozzarella cheese along with the meatball and sausage, along with a serving of sauce. We ended up taking some home for later. Will be definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Plenty of parking available.

A buddy of mine said the food was great. So we decided to order Chicken Parm, Penne à la vodka with chicken, meatballs, fried mozzarella and garlic bread. The food was fantastic! The flavor of the sauce was my favorite just so flavorful! The meatballs were a bit hard and chewy. I will definitely be ordering again! What a great meal we had last night!!

Decent spot that’s been around for quite some time. Wraps, subs, and sandwiches are good. Friend of mine got seafood fra diavolo and it was surprisingly good. Chicken orzo soup was tasty. Pretty casual inside, but they do have some degree of table service.

I have been coming to Antonio’s for a long time, and unfortunately, I won’t be going nearly as often anymore. This honestly makes me sad and angry to say. The food used to be delicious, but lately it has been a huge disappointment. I usually order the seafood fra diavolo, chicken florentine, and a side of meatballs. This time, the meatballs were rubbery and chewy. The fish in the seafood fra diavolo was overcooked and extremely chewy, which is especially upsetting when it comes to seafood. The chicken had decent flavor, but it was tough and chewy as well. I normally can cut the chicken with just my fork, but this time I couldn’t even cut it with a knife.
On top of the food going downhill, I also noticed that the two young ladies who used to work there were no longer around. I asked one of the gentlemen in the back where they were, and the first time I was told they were on vacation. When I came back again—only to be served another disappointing meal—I asked again and was told they no longer work there. That honestly upset me even more, because they always made my experience at Antonio’s so much better. They were always the best, and I truly wish I knew where they were working now just so I could see them again.
Now, my experiences at Antonio’s just aren’t the same anymore, and that is very sad for me to say. I’m honestly not sure when—or if—I’ll be going back to eat there.

Almost lifelong customer; Love a lot of stuff from here, however, we ordered tonight and were very disappointed in their meatball parm sub. Was so soaked in sauce it became impossible to eat as a sub, the overall flavor was decent, however the work it took to eat this sandwich made it almost unenjoyable. This was a takeout order so maybe in person may be better, but overall for 11.50 the quality could’ve been much better

Ordered fish and chips…large portions however no seasoning on the fish. Lots of batter not cooked well. Good location. Service is attentive. Medium crowd at dinner. Price is good.. love the Grape Soda!

Delicious, hot, fresh dinners! BYOB, fresh homemade bread, and big entrees. Had the blankened seabass and scallops over broccoli rabe, soooo good, we will definitely be back

When we arrived at Antonio’s for the first time, we were surprised to see that they referred to themselves as the Home of the Panini and wanted to see what it was all about. Though it’s not your typical pressed panini, Antonio’s definitely knows what they’re doing. Their freshly baked focaccia bread was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I couldn’t believe that for such a large sandwich, it was priced under $10! If I worked around here, I’d probably come get their paninis for lunch everyday. The cheese pizza was good, and we really enjoyed the burrata, prosciutto, and pesto appetizer that we had. The sauce on the spaghetti and meatballs was a bit watery, though I did like the meatballs. Every pasta dish comes with a soup or salad, so I chose the pasta fagioli. I was expecting a cup of soup, but the size of the bowl was literally bigger than my head! It was some fantastic pasta fagioli too. Though it’s super casual, Antonio’s really impressed us with their great food, generous portions, and affordable prices.
