I highly recommend Orange Hill for any special occasion, especially birthdays. This is the perfect place to take someone for their birthday — the view from outside is wonderful, and after the sun goes down you get a beautiful sunset overlooking the city. If you’ve never been to Orange Hill, I recommend calling the restaurant to make a reservation and giving it a try.
In my book, this is a very exquisite restaurant and definitely worth a second visit. The food is spot on, with great taste and perfect presentation — hats off to the chef team.

The food was good overall. We ordered oysters, fries, and the wagyu zabuton, and everything tasted good.
However, the experience was a little bit disappointing. We arrived about 10 minutes early for our reservation but ended up waiting around 45 minutes to be seated. We were surprised because inside the restaurant was pretty empty but we had to wait that long time.
We specifically requested an outdoor seat with a good view to see the sunset, but were guided to an indoor table with no good view. Because of the long wait, we missed the sunset entirely anyway.
This was our anniversary dinner, so the seating and timing were important to us. While the food was enjoyable, the service and overall experience didn’t quite meet our expectations for a special occasion.

My partner and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary here. Our server was amazing; gave us drink recommendations, checked in on us frequently, and in general, made sure we had a lovely time. The food was absolutely delicious; my partner got the wild mushroom pappardelle pasta with shrimp and I got the filet mignon with a side of 50/50 mash. The sauce that came with the filet mignon was sweet but worked so well with it. I ordered the Belle drink which was recommended and the presentation was amazing. Our reservation was for 4:45 pm which was perfect to watch the sunset in January. Our server also gave us a complimentary dessert for our anniversary which was so unexpected but delicious. We unfortunately forgot his name, but he had gauges. Even the valet was lovely and quick. Would go again !

The drive up to the location is breathtaking! Upon arrival the waiting room outside is inviting and comfortable with a fire place and a little pond with koi fish. The bar area is also available to wait to be seated. With even more spectacular views and very comfortable aesthetic chairs. Our waiters Ailyn was very helpful . She helped my fiancé and me choose the popular drinks and gave us a good explanation on the menu since it was our first time there. Fun fact: for my water drinkers, the water at this establishment was delicious! I know reviewing water probably isn’t seen much but for those who understand the difference between good and bad water this place is definitely the best in so many things and water is one of them! Definitely indulge by allowing yourself a good dinner at this restaurant! You won’t be disappointed!

We recently hosted a special event at Orange Hill and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The location alone is enough to impress anyone — perched on the hill with a stunning panoramic view of the city. Watching the sunset and seeing the city lights come to life made the atmosphere feel truly magical and elevated the entire evening. It’s definitely one of those places you bring people when you want to wow them.
The food was very good, well-seasoned, and nicely presented. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals, and the menu had enough variety to make everyone happy. Service was friendly and professional, and the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the event. They were attentive without being intrusive, which I appreciated.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because some dishes took a little longer than expected to arrive, but considering it was a busy evening with many events happening, it was understandable. Overall, Orange Hill is a fantastic spot for celebrations and special occasions — great food, great service, and an unbeatable view of Orange County. Definitely recommend it if you want a memorable night out. ✨

Orange Hill helped make my anniversary date extra special. Upon arrival, the valet team was very welcoming and answered all my questions (valet is $10, cash and card are both accepted, pay at the end of the experience). A reservation had been made beforehand. Checked in early, and the table was ready within 5 minutes. We were sat outside where we could watch the sun set on the horizon over a stunning view of Orange County and it’s city lights. The fire pits and heat lamps kept our evening warm after the had sun disappeared. Our server was very friendly and, although obviously very busy, continuously made time to check on my table. The main entrees took about 30 minutes to come out, but the server gave us updates. At the end of our meal, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert. If you want a romantic, relaxing, and leisurely evening, this is the restaurant to pick!

Our server surprised us with a delicious anniversary dessert, which made the experience even more special.

The food was outstanding, and the location is absolutely beautiful. The restaurant itself is very nice, and the staff were excellent, from the valet to the hostess and servers. My in-person experience was great.
However, trying to reach someone at the restaurant is incredibly frustrating. Over the span of a week and a half, I called four different times without ever getting a live person on the phone. I left two voicemail messages that were never returned and sent an email that also went unanswered. This is the reason I could NOT give them 5 stars.
While I did enjoy my visit, I would never use this restaurant for a special occasion or large party because they consistently fail to communicate with their customers.

This restaurant is amazing for both having a casual dinner and for any special celebrations. Atmosphere was great, staff were friendly and kind, their food was really good! There are lots of space for people to hang out outside and take pictures. The only thing is if you want to be seated outside you probably should put in a request when making a reservation.
