The food is fantastic. I was absolutely shocked by the freshness of the dishes and the taste too. Everything I’ve had in my multiple trips has been great. The server is funny and very good at his job(coming from another server). I recommend this place as one of the best stops in spearfish. Also the Boba is really good.

White miso soup is delicious, Foxy lady signature roll is AMAZING. Wonderful blend of flavors. I always forget to take pictures each time but found these from our first time here. Staff are friendly and courteous. Even with 1 server and 1 sushi chef and a full house from the moment they open their doors (literally seen before a line outside before they even opened), they did a SUPERB job of getting everyone’s orders in and handled the rush with smiles and professionalism. 10/10 recommend

Restaurant off the beaten path. If you don’t look carefully you may miss it. Typical decor for a sushi place; sushi is made at the sushi bar for all to watch or see if desired.
The food we had was excellent. My husband said his raw fish was high quality. I only eat cooked fish and mine was very good as well. We had several rolls and an appetizer. All of it was delicious. I did notice the size of the rolls was a bit smaller than we get at many other sushi places.

We stopped because of the HIGH 4.9 rating and will be back again because of the EXCELLENT food! Perfect tempura veggies (I only wish there was more!), delicious and fresh sushi with bright flavors and fresh fish and the best boba tea we have ever had! We had to call friends to tell them about it, because it was so yummy!
Our server was kind, attentive and even a bit funny when he saw how quickly we finished!
The music was classy, jazzy and the right volume to enjoy without drowning out conversation!
We will definitely be back this summer.

My new favorite spot for sushi in the Black Hills. Building had a great ambiance (think date-night) and the waiter was as polite as one can be. My spicy Poke’ bowl was assembled to perfection, and my girlfriends Godzilla roll was quite the treat.

Came here on a snowy day for lunch, I ordered steamed chicken sticky rice and wonton soup. All of it was delicious, the sticky rice came steamed in banana leaves and the wontons in the wonton soup had a very nice taste. I was even brought an extra serving of meat for free, and it was excellent. I am not a local but I would come here again if I happen to be in the area.

This place is just what Spearfish needed. If you love sushi check this place out. My Wife and I had the crab Rangoon, the Empire roll, the Foxy Lady roll, and the Alaska roll. They were all fantastic. The Rangoon were not your average Chinese food place Rangoon. The rolls were delicious and well presented. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Also the service was attentive without being obnoxious. I will %100 eat here again and recommend to anyone who loves sushi and sashimi.

The poké bowl might be “to die for”… Coal enjoying his chicken kids meal with jasmine rice; broccoli. 5☆ experience in a small quaint atmosphere. The picky princess Phil: also rates 5 stars.

I want to share something with everyone about a local business I think the world of. I’ve been a long-time customer of Fuji San Japanese Restaurant here in Spearfish. More recently I’ve been a frequent customer. Why do I love Fuji so much you ask? Aside from the fact I’m addicted to sushi and they have amazing sushi and Andy knows my order as soon as I walk in or call. But it is also because every time I come here, Andy gives me a compliment. And it isn’t just me, I hear him dish them out to everyone. That’s pretty fantastic. Ever since my dad passed away this past March, Fuji has become my comfort food restaurant when I’m having a rough day and it’s because I know every time I go there, the service will be amazing, even if I have to wait. It’s always worth the wait. The first time I visited after my dad passed was in late April and the first thing Andy said to me was “I’m so sorry for your loss.” I have no idea how he knew, but that means more to me than I could ever express. The customer service is always top notch and makes my rough day a little better. Thank you, Fuji Family! I value your presence in our community.
