Delicious Cuban food. I was very impressed with the quality and presentation of my meal. The service was excellent. This place could have easily received my coveted 5 stars, except I am not a fan of paying my tip before I receive my meal (they called it a 20% service fee). $52 dollars for a salad and sandwich, with no sides or beverage.

Coming home from my birthday trip, my friends and I had just gotten the news that we would be stuck in Miami due to the winter storms up north. Little Havana was our first stop and we were so happy to be served by Bryan C!

Bryan was a bundle of great energy, he gave us great food recommendations, he put our orders in quickly, and catered to us after our long trip. We ordered ropa vieja (excellent), and our friend had the garlic shrimp. She wasn’t feeling well, he kept refilling her hot water. We were pleased with the food quality and ambiance as well.

Everyone at our table has worked in hospitality at various points in our careers, and we were all impressed by the way Bryan cared for us. Bryan even brought out a tres leches so we could continue my birthday celebration. Bryan is kind, accommodating and truly an asset at this restaurant. We adored him! Thanks for brightening up our day a bit!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5-Star Review

If you’re in Miami Beach and craving authentic Cuban flavor, Little Havana 1951 is an absolute must-visit. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere pulls you in — colorful décor, upbeat Latin music, and a true Miami vibe that feels both lively and welcoming.

The food is outstanding. Every dish is packed with bold, traditional Cuban flavors — perfectly seasoned meats, fresh sides, and generous portions. The mojitos are top-tier, refreshing, and expertly crafted. You can tell everything is made with care and authenticity.

Service was just as impressive — attentive, friendly, and fast even when the restaurant was busy. The staff made the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable.

Whether you’re stopping in for brunch, dinner, or drinks, this spot delivers great food, great energy, and great service. Easily a 5-star experience. I’ll definitely be back.

2 days in Miami and this is the best food we’ve had yet! We came here specifically to try the Cuban sandwich since we heard it was the best in the city. It did not disappoint! We also tried the empanadas which we loved as well. Our server was Nelsys and she did an amazing job! We will definitely be back.

Had high hopes for this place. Food was so bland we had to drench it in salt and pepper (which we had to ask the bartender for) and then the food was just ok. Server was okay, hostess wasn’t very personable at all. Atmosphere is cool. We will skip this place next time we are in town.

Bella provided great service and the food was good. We had the croquettes-best part of the meal. Paella- good but rice not crispy the way I prefer. Cuban sandwich good and filling but not the best.

They made a speciality mule for me using Ron Zacapa! Lovely!
Food – I had the chicken and it was absolutely delicious- that sauce was to die for… and left me in a bit of a food coma that I almost couldn’t leave- maybe that was the goal hahaha.

We had a wonderful dinner here tonight — the food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and clearly made with care. Every dish exceeded our expectations.

A special shout-out to Brian, who made the experience even better. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, helping us feel comfortable and well taken care of throughout the meal. His service really stood out and made the night memorable.

We had calamari and steak — the portions were a bit small but everything was tasty. Since we weren’t full, we ordered a Margherita pizza, but it didn’t really meet our expectations. Still, the atmosphere was lovely, there was live music, and the staff were really nice.
