Overall we had a really nice time. Everything was prepared fresh and served quickly. The environment is nice for a date or an small group setting. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for something different that isn’t a chain.

Fantastic sushi place! Victor is fabulous, and so innovative. I have a cucumber allergy, and he was very supportive of cleaning down the work station and substituting ingredients for the cucumber in my rolls. The fish was phenomenal. I will definitely be back and let Victor make anything he pleases!

I was there last Friday for my 50th Birthday dinner with my wife. It was the perfect meal. Engaged staff, spectacular food, great decor. Some of the best food I’ve had out in years!

The sushi here is delicious and great quality! Our server was very nice and the sushi chef was so incredibly friendly and positive. Also one of the few places I can find Uni (sea urchin roe) actually in stock. Our food took a bit of time to come out but it’s a pandemic and there’s a staffing shortage so that’s completely understandable. The atmosphere is really nice and a bit quirky. I’m definitely going to be a regular customer here.

We came here for dinner. Despite there being not many other people there besides us, the food took a while to come out. The place itself looks dated and the interior is not much to look at but is sufficient.

Chef had his nose out and sometimes his mouth too while wearing his mask. Though the sushi itself was actually pretty tasty. Baked one was nice and had a lot of flavor. Sashimi pieces were good as well. A decent choice for a sushi dinner in Richmond.

I have been coming here for 15 years-it’s still my favorite sushi in town! The owners (who are always there) are kind and accommodating. Food is FRESH and consistently delicious! Victor will give you excellent recommendations if you want to try something new. Do yourself a favor and get a sake bomb for some added fun 🙂 10/10!

Excellent sushi! I had the London roll and my gf had the Crouching Tiger. Excellently plated and the wait wasn’t long at all! And they have Kikkoman plum wine here, which is phenomenally sweet and delicious.

Conveniently located right on main street ( right across from Miyabi, which is also fantastic), it’s not too hard to find parking and the prices were competitive! Added to the rotation

We came here to eat pretty late around 9 and glad they were open till 10. Only one main server and one if the Sushi chefs helped serve us. We ordered a bottle of sake – Sho Chiku Bai Nigori and that was pretty good. You got a little more of that rice taste due to it being unfiltered.

We ordered quite a but- the Spicy seafood soup, Beef garlic fried rice, eel and uni Sashimi. We ordered a variety of sushi – octopus and we also got a caterpillar roll. I don’t recall everything we got but it was all very good and good cuts with not too much rice.

I really liked the flavor of the seafood soup. It didn’t have a lot of seafood, some shrimp, fish and imitation crab meat. There was some noodles and cabbage in there too. Loved the way it tasted though. The beef garlic fried rice was also good and flavorful but I wish it had more garlic in there.

Overall a great Sushi spot.
