3 of us, arrived at 4:00 on a Sunday evening.
Got seated as soon as we arrived.
Waiter took our order and got our drinks in a timely manner.
Only complaint is that we weren’t checked on again until finished with our meals. The drinks needed refilled.
I couldn’t hear across the table because of the music and other dining conversations.
Thank goodness the food was delicious.

Texas Roadhouse is consistent in their great food with many options, great service and inviting atmosphere. The wait time was a little ridiculous which is why I gave 4 stars; otherwise it was a 5 star experience. They don’t take reservations but there’s an option to be out on a waitlist via your mobile phone and they’ll text you when your table is “ready”, but then when you go in to be seated, they make you wait 15-20 more minutes. From the time we put ourselves (party of 2) on the waitlist till the time we were seated at our table was 1 hr 50mins. It was a Saturday night around 5:30pm when we initially got put on the waitlist; after 7pm when we were seated. Nonetheless, the food and drinks were excellent and the service was on par with a high dollar establishment and the prices were fair. There is plenty of parking and they are fully ADA accessible. They give you warm rolls with a whipped cinnamon butter that is so addicting! Don’t fill up on those; although it’s hard not to. We ordered the cactus blossom for the appetizer which is the same as a blooming onion if you know what that is. Very tasty! Entrees were half rack of ribs with green beans and mashed potatoes with a side of brown gravy. I was especially astonished at how delicious the grew beans were! And the mashed potatoes and gravy was delicious too. The ribs fell off the bone and had a smoky delicious flavor. Second entree was a 6 oz sirloin added a 3 grilled shrimp skewer with a baked potato. The steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavor and the baked potato was delicious! We each had an adult beverage and it tasted great and did what it was supposed to do. Aside from the ridiculous time it took to get seated, this place has it going on and everyone knows it which is why it is packed almost every night. I came here a couple months ago for lunch with a party of 6 and we didn’t have to wait longer than 10 minutes which made the experience overall better. The service is always great too no matter how busy they are, the servers are always friendly and haven’t ever messed up an order. The menu is sure to please any pallet and their kids menu is broad.

I have been eating here for a long time. I usually love this place but I feel their quality has gone downhill. Today we had lunch for my son’s birthday. We were seated (near the kitchen entrance) and served quickly. Within a couple of minutes we were finding fruit flies crawling on our food and flying around our heads. We informed the server of the issue and they moved us to another table and brought us new salads. Here the flies come again. We were visited by two managers Stephanie and Emily who acknowledged they were having a problem with fruit flies and asked us what we wanted them to do about the problem. As a manager they should know what to do with an upset customer and a possible HEALTH CODE VIOLATION? We were offered a very minimal discount off of the total bill. If the dining area is covered with flies I wonder what the kitchen is like. VERY DISAPOINTED.

While passing through Columbia, we stopped in for dinner and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We called ahead and were promptly added to the waitlist. Upon arrival, our table was ready in less than ten minutes, which was greatly appreciated while traveling.
Kinley was very helpful on the phone and warmly greeted us when we arrived. Our server, Addyson, was prompt, thorough, and attentive throughout the meal. The food was delivered quickly, and although there was a minor issue, it was addressed and corrected immediately without disruption to our experience.
The convenience of paying directly at the table via tablet allowed us to settle up efficiently and get back on the road without delay. Overall, the combination of excellent food and outstanding service made for a very pleasant stop.

The food and service here have always been great. We enjoy the steaks, even the kids steaks are great. We also love the endless rolls with the brown sugar butter. The only time we have ever had any service issues, it was a super busy Saturday night. The manager on staff (Julianna) was absolutely incredible in taking care of our evening. Julianna valued us as customers, and made sure the rest of our dining experience was nothing but the best.

Texas Roadhouse in Columbia is always consistent. My go to is the Dallas Filet and the steak I had today, last year or the time before that always has great flavor, taste and cooked to order. We love the chopped hard-boiled egg on the ice cold salads served in cold bowls. Baked potato rolled in sea-salt are always done well, never over or under baked. Team is always friendly and orders come out in a timely fashion.

My wife had the pork chop dinner and I had the catfish dinner and they were both excellent! The service from Lilly and the manager Stephanie was incredible, on the other hand the cooking staff cannot cook a country fried steak to save their lives. It was chewy and took them forever to get me another one. Also the restaurant was half empty but somehow had a 30 minute wait to be seated. Our food at the bar took 20 min to get. But wonderful service just slow cooks!
