The lobster dip wasn’t that great. The cheese on the top was hard. My strawberry lemonade taste like it was made with dish water. The crab cakes were on the small size. I think for the price they charge they should be a lot bigger. And my asparagus was warm and not hot. The food was okay even though it was dry and a little burnt. The extra butter did help with the dryness and made everything taste better. So I wasn’t that impressed and not in a hurry to go back. The desserts were nice though I have to give them that.

We enjoyed a wonderful meal @Big Fish! The wine (Stella Rosa Moscata D’asti) paired with the Fried Texas Gulf Shrimp, Maple Glazed Carrots and Neva’s Potatoes was delicious! As long-standing customers of this restaurant, we always appreciate the excellent service we consistently receive. The meals are served hot and quick, giving the customer time to savor them. Three Cheers to Jax for a job well done!

So this place has really cool décor, big game fish throughout, cool models, a great bar, great takeout access, and an awesome location on the river, situated in a very large big-box-style parking lot with loads of parking. The problem is the food wasn’t stellar, and the service was spotty. The clam chowder was too acidic and soupy, not like a chowder. The rainbow trout was really dry and tasteless, as was the Cajun rice, it lacked flavor and moisture. The pasta was decent, but it too was too firm, and the taste wasn’t there. The crab cakes had the perfect amount of crab in them but were beyond bland. So, needless to say, we weren’t impressed with the food or the service, but the location is cool for where it’s at.

Was not impressed, the fries was soft, sweet potates was like lumpy baby food, the scallops was over cooked or under cooked. The waitress was knowledgable of the menu. The table recieve a small cup of tuna fish and crakers, different. The table also got galric bread, ( sl7ced loaf bread with garlic season toasted on the flat grill. When the food was brough to the table, the persons long sleeve shirt came in contact with food on 2 plates including the one my wife and I was snacking on. The over all presentation was odd. The sauces was ok ( loosely). The house red sauce was bit salty but, some flavor. The horseradish sauce didnt have any kick. The cocktail sauce was bland.For the price per plate you would have the expectations of more quality and with serving seafood there would be more caution in food preperation and presentation. 3 plates and drinks roughly 130 dollars. I gave 2 stars because my waitress was nice. 《FYI》The pictures posted are what the plates look like immediatly after placed on the table.

The service was very good! From everyone all servers were friendly and accommodating. The mussels were small but ok. This fish was well cooked and well seasoned!! Fries were delicious! My friends dish I tasted and it was also delicious!

The food was fabulous! Salmon Rockefeller and thai chili halibut were delicious! We were there early so not sure how it is when it’s busy. We enjoyed our experience.

Located along the scenic Wilmington Riverfront, Big Fish Grill offers a spacious dining area with ample parking, making it convenient for gatherings. During our visit, we tried the Lobster Bisque, Grilled Swordfish, Cedar Plank Salmon, Seafood Pasta, and an Oyster and Shrimp Combo. While the service was attentive and the ambiance pleasant, the dishes lacked the flavor and freshness we anticipated. Given the underwhelming taste experience, we wouldn’t return for the food, though the location remains appealing for its accessibility and setting.

This place is sitting n8cely by the river front. A walk by the river before or after is very nice. They have outside tables as well. It has plenty of parking. Food were quite good. I hesitantly ordered salmon but it very nicely cooked. It wasn’t overcooked which I found most restaurants do. Everyone enjoyed their food. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. Price is a bit on the high side. Great for an special occasion.
