We have enjoyed the Village Tavern for many years.
The servers are very friendly and helpful.
You can kick back, relax and kid with the staff. They are helpful when it comes to menu suggestions and the overall service is professional.
The atmosphere is; (both inside and also out on the patio in nice weather.) Clean, pleasant and welcoming.
The Menu is interesting with something for everyone. Large portions of fresh, good tasting food attractively presented. Great homemade soups daily with wonderful crocks of French Onion all the time. They also have great deserts if you have any room left!
Over all just a “great place”,…… have fun and enjoy meeting your friends for a good meal!

I have been dining at the village Tavern for both Lunch and dinner for quite some time and have never been disappointed. They have great burgers, unique and tasty dinners and are very accommodating when needing to make slight substitutions. Their menu is extensive and everything is delicious. I have brought many friends and family here to dine and everyone has had a pleasant dining experience. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Fantastic Food and Great Atmosphere!

Both the food and service were great!!! I had a burger (naughty or nice) and onion rings, both were delicious. Our server had the right amount of attentiveness and she was very pleasant. My only complaint is that the booth in the bar area was very uncomfortable to the bottom. Other than that I will be eating there again.

Came here for a birthday party. Food was excellent (try the country fried chicken with waffles – incredible). Nice area for the party, wait staff friendly and prompt. The bill, considering drinks, appetizers and entrees was very reasonable. Highly recommended, will definitely be back.

We have passed this place many times and it seems very popular. We finally stopped by for a Friday happy hour to check it out. Several signs told us to see the bartender to be seated but one was on their phone and the other was chatting to what seemed like regulars … no one acknowledged us. When we moved towards the dining room, a waitress passed by and told us to seat ourselves. They weren’t very busy at all and seemed sufficiently staffed but service was slow. Spouse and I worked in restaurants and are very tolerant, but we almost walked out. We finally placed a drink order, which had to be changed because the bar didn’t stock a requested (and fairly common) drink item. We ordered their wings which were just average. And we had burgers which were pretty good. All in all, a local spot where everyone may know your name but “strangers” don’t seem welcome. We don’t plan on returning.

We’ve lived in Upper Dublin for 11 years and never ate at this gem. We were worried when we arrived and saw mostly senior citizens. Then they sat us outside in a beautiful terrace. I brought the whole family, and it went smooth. The service was outstanding. Great kids menu. All fresh ingredients. More than expected in menu items. The portions were huge. They even had a one-woman band that was pretty good. We will definitely be returning. New favorite place for family.

The first impression of this place wasn’t great. We made reservations way ahead of time and sat us at this crooked table in the sun so half our party could barely see each other. The bathrooms are outdated small and lacking of a pleasant atmosphere. Not saying that a bathroom needs to be super pretty, but they aren’t the nicest. My glass was dirty on the inside and the plates on our table were dirty underneath as if someone with dirty hands placed them on the table. We ordered soups with our dinner which never came. The food was very good however, I had the chicken chop chop salad and as our dinner was served the manager stopped over to apologize for all the inconveniences and asked if we could use another drink bc why not, so we ordered a drink thinking it would be covered but it wasn’t! As a manager you would think after coming over to apologize that a drink would be complimentary. But no. While the food was tasty, I will not be going back. Would rather go to the Phil’s tavern in Blue Bell.

Went for dinner and drinks. Friday afternoon crowd was just picking up but we found parking easy and were seated right away. The server was friendly and helpful. I had the crab cake and shrimp. Both were delicious. The slaw was prepared differently than I am acustomed to and was not enjoyable. Moderately priced. Everyone on the staff that we met was pleasant and welcoming.
