We went to celebrate my sister’s birthday and had a wonderful experience. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. They seated our group of 10 at a large private table, which made the celebration very comfortable for everyone. They even added a thoughtful touch by displaying “Happy Birthday” on the TV monitor for her. It made the moment feel special. Great food, great service, and a perfect place for celebrations.

Loved the food – a lot of options to choose from and the prices are fairly decent. The waitress was kind and attentive. My kids loved the noodles and ramen and the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering so definitely quick. Will be returning to try more – I love how much detail is put into the presentation of the dishes.

Definitely check this place out. The food was incredible. Such great tasting steak! Everything food related was perfect. Our server wasn’t great but we had a superior service recovery by Joyce completely making my Anniversary dinner perfect with a special dessert. I highly recommend this small and subtle place for a great dinner!

Joy Japan: An Absolutely Joyful Experience!
I just had the most incredible hibachi experience at Joy Japan in St. Cloud, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we walked in, everyone was incredibly nice, especially Jayline upfront who was so welcoming.
The food truly blew me away. I ordered the steak and chicken combo, and it was hands down the best hibachi I’ve ever had. It came with salad and soup, and they were happy to let me swap the clear soup for my favorite miso soup. The flavors were just phenomenal.
Beyond the delicious hibachi, my family and I also tried the crab puffs for the first time, and consider me absolutely hooked! They were so good, I’m already planning my next visit just for them.
The prices at Joy Japan are also incredibly reasonable, and our food came out super fast, which is always a plus. If you’re looking for fantastic hibachi, great service, and dishes that will keep you coming back for more, you have to try Joy Japan. I’m definitely going back ASAP!

It was are first time trying Joy Japan and I’d like to say we all walked away satisfied. As someone who considers herself basic when it comes to trying sushi or seafood, I decided to try a poke bowl. I loved it at felt as if I have been missing out. It is not a flashy type of atmosphere, but if you are looking for great Japanese food then this is where you need to go. I would recommend to everyone. My whole family enjoyed the food.

Wow! What a great addition for the St Cloud community. Definitely 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way around. This quaint little Japanese restaurant is nestled in the shopping strip by the Market Place. Delicious! Fresh!
The sushi rolls were fresh and not over stuffed with rice- nice balance between filling and rice.
The Krab Puffs – oh yum! Crispy lightly fried and tasty. The plum wine was fruity and crisp.
The entries were seasoned and spiced properly. A little heat but flavorful.
The biggest challenge was parking because they were so busy. But there was plenty of grass parking on the side.
Service was professional and attentive. Food was served timely.
So glad we stopped – definitely we’ll be back.
Dining experience was pleasant.

Stopped in for lunch today and the food was amazing. I got the vegetable spring rolls, with the chicken and shrimp hibachi meal that comes with miso soup. (Lunch special) I added the ginger salad because I love the dressing. The dinner did come with both miso soup and salad. Really nice that the restaurant offers lunch specials on the weekend. That’s hard to find so that is nice for us light eaters who don’t want a full dinner sized meal for lunch. A was a little different the veggies were just broccoli and carrot. No zucchini or onions. It was still delicious tho.

It is such a cute little sushi and hibachi spot! The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was friendly and attentive. I really enjoyed the relaxed vibe, and everything came out just right.
