I rarely leave reviews, but i couldn’t over look my experience today.
I visited with my mom and little brother to celebrate his basketball win. The restaurant was very busy, but the wait time was short, which we appreciated. Once seated, we ordered drinks. It took some time for the creamer to arrive, which caused the coffee to cool, but we remained patient given how busy it was and our waiter did reassure us.
Our food came out quickly. While eating, we noticed a few issues. The pancakes looked like they just threw the chocolate chips in the middle, my mom’s bread was missing, and she received the wrong eggs. We chose not to send anything back or ask for the missing bread and continued with our meal.
I ordered the steak and eggs, cooked medium. When the steak arrived, it looked unusual, appearing very firm and overcooked on the outside but I’m used to this especially in restaurants however. When I cut into it, the inside was raw and blood began to come out. I separated it from the rest of my food and showed it to the waiter. The steak was taken back to be corrected.
After a while when it was returned, it still had blood on top, and I was asked, “Is that okay?” At that point, I was no longer comfortable eating it and declined the dish. Also my hash browns were taken with the steak and weren’t brought back
Overall, the experience was disappointing, particularly regarding the preparation and handling of the steak. I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it helps improve future experiences

We went to Denny’s and had such a good experience. A young man named Ismael Martinez helped us out, and he was honestly so sweet and respectful. He kept checking in to make sure we were okay, refilled our drinks without us having to ask, and had a really nice attitude the whole time. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job. Little things like that really make a difference. We’ll definitely be coming back.
