I liked the good variety on the menu and plenty of parking.

I got the Mentaiko Pasta which was fairly tasty, balanced, and the bread that came with it was toasted and delish.

Also had the Curry Rice which was on the meatier end so not the typical Japanese sweetness which was a plus and the katsu.

All the portions were small for the average texan.

Strawberry Matcha Latte was quiet expensive considering adding oat milk made it $9.50, not the most amazing drink.

I would not try the items again, but would consider coming back to try some other things on the menu.

This place is such a cute little cafe. The matcha and hojicha are really great and flavorful and not too sweet. The spicy chicken katsu sando and chicken katsu curry were freshly fried and had a nice spice level. The ladies working were very sweet and got us our order very quickly even tho it was during the lunch rush. I wish i lived closer so i could come here more often lol

Match was SO GOOD! They told me they mix 3 different ones, and it was the perfect amount of light sweet and you can taste the quality of the matcha! Got the tamago sandwich and I’d pass on that next time. Was underwhelming.

Cafe Hana is great! Price is a little steep for certain items but really good for certain items? My spicy katsu was a little dry and probably was not worth $13, but the gyudon, udon & sides definitely were. The egg salad was great and plenty for $3 as a side, and the earl grey hojicha was GREAT, debatable for $8.5 but that’s just how good coffee/tea is thesedays really, I have seen worse. The panna cotta was amazing and definitely worth the 5 bucks imo.
The vibe is great, quiet, vintage, chill. Plenty of plugs but no wifi lol. The staff however, was incredibly amazing. Like truly great! Everyone was super nice & attentive, and I got offered more ice for my coffee after I left briefly & came back. They even pulled the dessert out to show me and explain the flavors because their fridge was just a little foggy. Overall, very impressed!
I’ve been here several times and I love the fruit sandwiches as well as most of the drinks here. Pretty dang authentic food overall and good dessert. It’s not cheap but overall not abusive pricing, just pick what you want really, knowing the sandos can run a little steep. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

It’s a small and cozy cafe. Loved the matcha and pork curry rice, both were delish. It would’ve been even better if they had wifi, but I’ll definitely coming here more often!!

A little touch of Japan in Irving! This cozy cafe reminded me of Japan. The egg sando was similar to the ones you get from 7/11 in Japan! They have a wide variety of sando selections from sweet to savory. The matcha was excellent. It was the perfect balance of peach and matcha. If you’re needing your Japanese food fix, this is the place to go!

I enjoyed the Hojicha latte a lot! The food prices are a bit steep but my friends enjoyed their food. Unfortunately the shop is not accessible to mobility aids unless you can snag a table at the very front and it was crowded when I arrived. I had to return my walker to my car and rely on a companion to help me around and order for me. If I had come alone I would have had to leave. For wheelchair users, I would recommend avoiding this shop unless you’re fine with potentially not being able to stay.

The strawberry matcha latte is very good! However, there are a few comments. I dont believe they hand whisk their matcha because they take less than 1 minute to serve, so it must be premade. I can also taste that it is because its chalky. Additionally, more than half of the cup is chunky ice. This matcha with oatmilk is nearly $11, which for the quality and size of the drink I dont believe its worth it. I really liked the strawberry puree tho, its the right amount of sweet. The service is great, but I believe they could improve the drink so it’s worth the $11.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Taste of Japan in Las Colinas – Cafe Hana

Cafe Hana is a hidden gem that instantly transports you to a cozy Japanese café. Whether you’re craving a light breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or just a coffee break with something sweet, this place has you covered. The menu offers an excellent balance—from hearty options like their crispy chicken sandwich to delicate, locally sourced pastries that pair perfectly with their drinks.

Their coffee is just as impressive—especially the orange espresso, which is refreshing and beautifully layered. Every sip and every bite feels intentional and refined, yet comforting.

The staff is warm and friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to return. It’s not just a café—it’s an experience, like stepping into a quiet corner of Tokyo right in the middle of Las Colinas.

Highly recommend for coffee lovers, Japan enthusiasts, or anyone looking for quality in both flavor and service.

Food is good coffee is great.
Very nice place, the only thing is no WiFi. So just be aware of that if planning on working from there. But other than that it’s a great coffee shop.
Try the Sandos
