In the past 6 years there’s only at least 4-5 where I tried an authentic Mexican restaurants. As we entered, we were greeted warmly by the owner and staffs.

I came here for the first time super late at night a few days ago at random and had to come back today. I’ve been hunting for good Mexican food ever since moving from Arizona but haven’t quite found a place that I love (and I’ve tried so many places) until now- absolutely delicious food. We tacos the first time and this time flautas dinner and a burrito and it was even better the second time around. This is our New Mexican food spot! Latina approved! Also seems to be a family business and both visits the people working were incredibly friendly! The restaurant itself is also very cozy and we enjoyed dining in both times. 10/10

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for over 30 years food is delicious and I have never felt the way I felt today.
1. Asked for a small horchata my daughter asked did it taste funny and yes it did, it tasted like ice cold spoiled horchata. Went to the counter to tell the cook cause the waiter/cashier was taking 2 gentlemen’s order. She looked at me and turn her head so i went back to my seat and I waited to see if they would taste it and the waiter/ cashier did. Didn’t say anything to us and kept going with his job. Then remember the 2 gentlemen he was taking there order, why did there food come out 10 minutes before our order. They were what we call nice nasty towards us so we absolutely did NOT leave a tip

Solid hole in the wall type place with a good menu. A few tables out in the open with the kitchen in full view.
The food was good, but I have to dock a few stars for not reading the note attached to the take out order. Put in for ‘no lettuce’, but it was still on the nachos. Still tasted great, but was just a pain to have to pick it all off

Simple little long-time, old-school storefront restaurant that sells some of the best authentic Mexican dishes in the city. This is my go to every time I’m in the area, and always my go to for gorditas. The food is so fresh, well-prepared and well-seasoned, you’d think that someone’s abuela is cooking in the kitchen! And the family who owns the establishment are always so friendly. Great spot for tacos, gorditas, burritos, and more!

The prices on the google menu are old, the guy said those were 2008 prices, but it’s still a good deal as the prices are a buck or 2 higher. GREAT FOOD!

By far the best tacos I’ve had so far, the chicken is to die for! A beautiful, authentic hole in the wall that knows tacos in and out, We ordered the Taco Dinner, with the Chile relleno, chicken, and huevo y chorizo. All three were fresh and tasted amazing.

This place is amazing, the quality of food is excellent, it’s run by two older Mexican ladies so I wouldn’t expect this place to work well for delivery apps or pickup. Just go in and enjoy the excellent food. It’s a find!!

I cannot recommend this place enough! It is a quaint little place with a little adorable abuela making the burritos. This burritos are giant and taste like magic!!! Be prepared to crave them every morning.

Absolutely GOLD. Went here about 30 minutes to close and my food was SO FRESH. Such a fantastic place to stop at late night before going home to the suburbs. Will absolutely come here again. Awesome that two little old Señiorita’s are running the whole thing. Awesome value for your buck. Forgive the awful picture but I was just so excited to eat it. 10/10. Amazing steak
