The radio add indicated that buttermilk pancakes here have crispy edges. My pancakes did not have crispy edges.

Our waitress did not speak her name when she approached the table which is understood to be a customary practice in Western cultures: to greet diners by stating your name.

When I ordered my second order of pancakes delivered, my waitress did not remove the first plate, and when she returned to the table with the second plate of pancakes, she was about to put the plate of pancakeson top of the first plate, but I snatched the finished plate away so she could the second plate on the table. She definitely had a chance to remove two plates before she returned to the table with second plates, but did not. I attribute that possibly to poor training from management.

My friend noticed that others who came in after us were served pancakes before we were. This would not have been upsetting except for my friend noticed this situation giving a classic feeling that someone that came in afterwards is served their pancake order first.

The service from the waitress was great however the seating hostess seated under a fan and when asked to move to the other side because we were feeling cold she said that side was closed but never offered to move us to any other tables on the open side where the fans were turned off there were a few. Out of all the food we ordered most were very salty, i always get their meatloaf and that was delicious.

This is my first visit to a cracker barrel, and I was only here because someone gave me a gift card… about 5 years ago. The front door greeters were very pleasant, though they immediately mentioned I should consider signing up for a membership. The waiter was pleasant, but he’s young. After presenting to him a sodium problem, he gave me the same blank stare that my 18-year-old does. Sodium here matters because all the butter was salted, and so is the chicken marinade, that I was actually trying to avoid. All I wanted was plain grilled chicken. But I guess I couldn’t have that. He did try though, bringing me plain broccoli and an untouched baked potato. Two things I did not have were sugar for my iced tea and coffee, nor did I have any napkins. The biscuit was uncooked dough. If I squished it up and threw it against the wall, it would just stick. The amount of Grease that was left behind on the paper is concerning. I only had like three bites, it was otherwise bland and probably loaded with sugar and once again more sodium. I really don’t understand want people want to eat food like this. Then they wonder why they’re overweight and on blood pressure medication.

I love the theme and all the cool memorabilia that is all around the place. The gift shop has some really things, from oversized candies to clothing items, and a lot of other fun things for all age range. The atmosphere was family friendly. However, the food was not as flavorful as I would have anticipated. Not only did it take a while but also a few hiccups happened during the wait for our meal and our order in general.
The server was really pleasant and was courteous enough to extent some apologies for any shortcoming.

We recently ate at Cracker Barrel, and without hesitation, this was probably one of the best Cracker Barrel experiences we’ve ever had. From the food to the service to the overall atmosphere, everything was top-notch from start to finish.
The food alone deserves high praise. We ordered the fried chicken and the chicken and dumplings, and both were outstanding. The fried chicken was perfectly cooked — crispy, golden, and well-seasoned on the outside, while still juicy and tender inside. It tasted fresh, not greasy, and clearly made with care. The chicken and dumplings were just as impressive: rich, comforting, and full of that classic homestyle flavor Cracker Barrel is known for, but taken up a notch. The dumplings were soft and hearty, and the chicken was plentiful, not skimpy.
We didn’t hold back on sides, either — we loaded up, and every single one was spot on. Everything came out hot, well-portioned, and exactly as ordered. No shortcuts, no corners cut. It felt like a true comfort-food feast.
What really pushed this visit into “exceptional” territory, though, was the service and atmosphere. The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without hovering. The dining room was clean, well-organized, and comfortable, creating the kind of relaxed setting that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the meal.
Cracker Barrel has always been known for consistency, but this location took it beyond that. This wasn’t just a good Cracker Barrel meal — it was an excellent restaurant experience all the way around. If you’re looking for comfort food done right, this one absolutely delivers.

Love the pecan pancakes
The hushpuppies were extra crispy on the outside and were doughy in the center.

So stinking tired of ordering this and it never being made right. What’s the point of ordering something and paying or it when they dont even put the toppings on it? Might as well mark the price down on the menu since they never add the toppings to this because either the servers or managers are too lazy to correct the BOH at this point or are not trained properly.

Cracker barrels food is always good and comforting. Our server was great and everything we ordered was as expected. We tried the benigns and they were pretty good, thicker than what you expect though. I always live the chicken and dumplings. Good place to go for moderatly cheap wholesome food if you are in the area

Quick fix for brunch, The cashier was pretty cool and pleasant. The host barely looked up from his phone. The waitress ahh not so much. The food was the issue the chicken tenders were clearly burnt, the eggs and hash browns were decent. A knife was needed to cut the bacon and it seemed like the ham needed to be on a milk carton because it was missing. I’ll skip CB next time and hit up BK right next door. Save yourself the trouble. One and done. I’m out.
