Top notch Mexican restaurant with stylish decor and plenty of helpful wait staff. Their food is truly some the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had. The carnitas plate had delicious slow roasted pork that was nicely seasoned. It was accompanied by a pico de gio like finely chopped tomatoes, guacamole and roasted jalapenos and of course, the obligatory rice and beans.
My friend had three tacos that he was equally impressed with. We had chips and salsa. The chips were decent but the salsa was fab. Especially the spicy one I requested.
The margaritas weren’t very big but the flavor, garnish and presentation was very good.

My server was Luisa and Leo came over quite a bit to chat with us and ask how our dining experience was. Honestly, it was a 100/10 and I will definitely come back here whenever visit Orlando because this was my first restaurant and it did NOT disappoint! Food AMAZING, service MAGNIFICENT, Atmosphere BLEW MY MIND!!! I would definitely recommend this for first time Orlando visitors and make sure you enjoy the food and the vibes because it’s well worth it!!!!

We had a great lunch experience at this restaurant. We had guac and chips for starters and then shared a plate of their citrus chicken street style tacos. My Uni Mas Marg was very strong! And since it’s made fresh ver using a mix tasted pretty great too. The tacos were also very good. The ambiance is very nice, they used very beautiful place settings and decor. Great service as well!

Agave azul gateway did not disappoint. The food was incredible, we got goat cheese jalapenos and chips and queso for appetizers. They were great specially the jalapeños. We ended up getting tacos carne asada and pastor pretty good!
The service was awesome very professional and polite all staff.

We were visiting Orlando and wanted an outdoor Mexican style place and stumbled upon Agave Azul. We are so glad we did. Carolina and team took great care of us, and we even came back a second day!! Highly recommend!

The drinks were delicious but my sister mentioned her allergy but when she got it got a pineapple leave on it as decorations. She mentioned her tongue being itchy and mentioned it to the server but he did not understand the issue. The nachos are delicious sauce and the cheese is great and salsa tastes fresh and flavorful. I got the hibiscus frescas and was delicious. We did not get much since plane delayed two hours but if we venture back thay way will try some meals. The hostess offered for me to be in a higher booth after explaining my disability needs but only proved why we need DEI and education in listening because she cut us off and kept pointing to a table that would have been difficult for me.

I had an amazing experience at Agave Azul Cocina Mexicana Gateway location while visiting Orlando before heading out on my cruise.
The service was great from start to finish, and I especially want to shout out Mitzie, the manager. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made me feel genuinely welcomed. You can tell she truly cares about her guests and takes pride in making sure everyone has a great experience.
The food was excellent. I ordered the carne asada street taqueros and empanadas, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The carne asada was tender and well-seasoned, and the empanadas were crispy and packed with flavor. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing.
Between the food and the customer service, this place really stands out. If you’re in the area, especially if you’re visiting Orlando, I highly recommend stopping by the Gateway location. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.
