Delightful little shop with a really cute interior, large selection of ice cream flavors, and plenty of parking! Very generous scoops in your choice of cone, cup, or waffle bowl. There is an extensive lunch menu with classic sandwich selections, soups, and even a kids’s meal special. Lots of hand-dipped flavors and other cool treats such as milkshakes and sno-cones.
The shop was very clean, and whimsically decorated to include ice cream motif valances and ice cream theme pushpins on the bulletin boards. The staff member there was very friendly and courteous. He let us taste and then took care to carefully scoop our choices. We enjoyed this visit and will return next time we’re in the area.

First time we’ve been here since changing owners, and it’s back better than ever!! The refresh of the interior was adorable, and all the best features are still there! The food menu is only available at certain times, but we come for the ice cream!! I also want to mention that the prices are great in a world where everything seems so high. Love being able to sit in their spacious booths and play a game of checkers. You also could go outside and swing on their wooden bench swing or sit at a nearby picnic table. It’s just the cutest place!!

I stopped by during the art festival. They were really busy and I did not have to wait long. The staff is really attentive.
Even with the high traffic volume, they keep the eating areas very clean. Would definiltey swing by again.

Nice little place to grab a treat. My biggest critique is they serve Hershey’s ice cream and I don’t care for that brand very much. The shop is quaint and clean. Customer service is decent. They do have signage that indicates they have soft serve ice cream but they do not. When we inquired about it, they said, “we haven’t had it for years”. Why not correct the signs? I might return in a pinch.

This is a hidden gem in Arbutus. Tons of delicious flavors and great prices. It’s no-frills and hasn’t been updated inside for a long time, but do not let that deter you from sitting down and having a scoop (or three). You can get milkshakes, sundaes, different cone types, and they’ll mix and match flavors for you. My single scoop waffle cone was less than $5 total and was too much for me to finish (I do realize that’s super subjective and varies by person).
They have a little area outside for seating and several booths inside. Perfect for families looking to have a treat together.

Ok spot for ice cream – never really tried their food. Nothing really fancy, just mainly Hershey’s ice cream. The staff is generally made up of teenagers and are typically friendly. There’s a good amount of outdoor seating.
Very family friendly, so this means there’s a certain vibe to the place. Or said another way: all the kids clomping around means that it’s not the most atmospheric place – not the spot for a romantic shared sundae with your significant other.

Got all excited when Google compared it to Handel’s Ice cream….Google should reevaluate haha. Cute little place. Lots of choices. Staff was great. Serving was eehh… $3.50 for a scoop of cookie dough that was about 3 bites worth.
I’ll order 2 individual scoops next time to get the full serving 🙂
