This pizza was soooooo amazing, along with the wings and caesar salad! The server, Philo, was very friendly and receptive to our needs as a table, he got us refills on drinks without needing to be asked or called over and was very attentive. The pizza crust and toppings were so flavorful and hit the spot for all of us. Decor was fun and lively, everyone should check this place out!

My wife and I stopped by Mellow Mushroom in Asheville for a daytime lunch while on vacation with our two young daughters. It was loud and crowded when we walked in, so I figured it had to be worth the hype.
The girls were sound asleep, so we took a table outside to keep things peaceful. Our server was genuinely nice—that was easily the best part of the visit.
Drinks came out quickly and hit the spot: I had a sweet tea and a hard cider, and my wife got a sangria drink that she loved.
The food, though, took forever. We were almost done with our drinks before anything arrived. Her small white pizza was solid and she enjoyed it, but my steak and cheese hoagie with tater tots fell flat—no mayo (I had to ask for it), hardly any cheese to hold it together, and overall pretty bland.
Once we finished, our server pretty much vanished. We sat there quite a while waiting for the check, and I finally had to go inside to let the host know we needed the bill and a to-go box. Paid in cash and headed out.
It’s a fun, lively spot and they do offer a military discount, which I appreciate. Still, the slow service, long waits, and underwhelming food make it a pass for me next time—I’d just order Domino’s instead.

Food and staff were awesome. It’s in the center of Asheville so parking can be a little tough but the food is worth it. It is very pricey though so be prepared for that.

I’ve been to this location MANY times, and it’s ALWAYS good. My most recent venture was not the greatest, but more good times than bad.
This time I ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, and while the flavor was right, the lack of appropriately sized chicken pieces and bacon is notable. Also, we got 15 wings and they were off by a noticeable drum to flat ratio (each of us prefers a different one). So one of us was shorted on the wings we like so much. I will definitely be back, and hopefully things get sorted before then.

Really great pizza and nice selection of beers. Transformed auto shop into pickle factory and subsequently into pizza restaurant. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Outside tables all had umbrellas to reduce the suns heat. Friendly waitress. She provided descriptions and suggestions that worked well for use. Lots of toppings.

First stop in, really good. Tons of gluten free options and great wings. Bunch of beer options as well. Service was great. We got there early so it was instant seating. Fun interior design… funky decor.

We had salads and pizzas delivered for our large group one night. They were fast and efficient. Salads were fresh and delicious (Greek salad). The pizzas satisfied our cravings and went perfectly with the wine we had at home. Solid crust and ingredients. We had a guest that was gluten free and she was able to pick her option and enjoy a great pizza alongside everybody.

5 stars all around. Our waitress was fun, energetic, and matched the vibe perfectly. The artwork was incredible, and the food was also some of the best of our week long trip. The waitress knowing the back story to the building was also the icing on the cake! We wish you many more successful years!
