We stopped in for a late Saturday lunch and it was busy — even without football on — which tells you everything you need to know. Clearly a local favorite.
The weather was beautiful, and they have plenty of seating options: two bar areas, indoor dining, and covered al fresco seating. Great setup for Florida.
I ordered a seasonal lunch special, the crab cake salad. It’s plated with the crab cake resting on a bed of blue cheese pico-style mixture, with spring greens on the side. Just a heads up — the presentation makes the crab cake look thicker than it is (even in the menu photo). It drapes over the blue cheese base, so it appears substantial, but it’s more the thickness of a hearty pancake. That said, it was flavorful and perfectly adequate for lunch. The dressing on the greens was especially nice.
My husband ordered the fried shrimp dinner portion and was very happy with it. They also have an impressive selection of beers on tap.
They have a “Lighter Bites” menu at the bar available daily 11am-5pm, even on weekends, (you may have to ask for it if it’s not out) if you’re looking for smaller servings.
The vibe is friendly and local — very friendly. You might leave knowing more about your neighbors than expected. It’s the kind of place where conversations carry and regulars settle in.
Overall: solid seafood, lively atmosphere, and clearly a community staple.

Wowwwwwwww, that taste amazing, had the sushi stack. So Fresh and bursting with flavor. Could eat that everyday, unfortunately just visiting. Wish there was one of these restaurants up in New Port Richey area, LOL. And typically not a fan of oysters raw but had their famous roasted Oyster Rock, very good as well. I’ll certainly be going again next time I’m in town.

Holy MOLY!!!! This place is amazing. Especially my server Shannon!! We got a dozen oysters and they were FAB! Then we got the shrimp ceviche, mussels in garlic and tomatoes, and calamari. We also got bloody Mary’s and everything from start to finish just blew our minds! It might be a snow storm in Michigan but it is COOKIN IN FLORIDA!! ❤️

Great experience here today.
We were part of a group of 25 and the service was more than excellent.
Food was served fast, hot and really good. Portions were generous.
Grouper, cod and the onion platter were really good.

I was greeted with a smile and was immediately seated. Sarah came to the table and was polite, friendly, very Knowledgeable, and professional. I ordered the lobster and Sarah recommended the brussel sprouts and the mac n cheese. Everything was delicious. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced seafood diner that will exceed your expectations. I highly recommend Anna Marie’s Oyster Bar. These folks will treat you better than family and you won’t walk away hungry.

This restaurant is very popular in all of Manatee county, especially with having so many stores. When we went to this restaurant we went with a gift card, so we ordered a couple meals, but this place also has a penny an inch pricing for the kids to eat here. Joy, the kids are not necessarily free, but they’re not very expensive either with some decent meals for the meat. Me and my wife’s meals were pretty decent, she got the butter and Herb shrimp and scallops, and I ordered the shrimp platter. We also got a couple soups and a salad, I ordered the gumbo since I’m from New Orleans. I was a bit disappointed with the gumbo because it did not really taste like gumbo but more of a minestrone flavor and very acidic. I could not finish that. The shrimp meals however were very good. It was also very funny to have our food delivered to us by the robot that they use at this restaurant to deliver the food. We finished our meal with the key lime pies that are homemade here, which were also very delicious and put on a plate with some type of sour apple sauce on the plate. It was very tasty and delicious. I think it tastes like sour apple… Overall. It’s still a key lime pie, but the green sauce that’s on the plate still reminded me of a sour apple…
The service was great, the atmosphere is also great. When it comes to the food portions, it seemed a little deceptively small at first, yet it was enough to fill my stomach.

When groups get together, Ana Maria oyster bar is often suggested. I would never think of going there if it were just me and my wife because I’m a vegetarian. But in the group situation, it happens.
What are the choices for vegetarians? It’s either slim or none.
Luckily, I did start eating seafood years ago just to make it easier to go out. But that doesn’t mean I like it.
So, as happens way too often, I had the fish and chips. OMG. Best fish and chips I’ve ever had in the United States. They really go light on the breading.
