Tyler was AMAZING! We go here a lot before Nuggets games. This is by far the best service we have had. Tyler was professional, fun and super attentive. We appreciate his hard work and hope to have him again in the future. We also appreciate him playing credit card roulette for us!

Hey guys, well let me tell you that this place food is amazing. Everybody enjoyed their food at the table from burgers to salad .flavor wise just like the menu described it. I had smoked chicken salad, which was phenomenal. The atmosphere was great not too loud. they had a few football games on, but still very manageable to talk with each other. I am giving a two stars for service because I feel like I was waiting too long for the server to come and refill my drink . other than that great place to stop by if you’re downtown, we reserved a table so it was quick.

My co-worker and I were in Denver for a few days for a conference. We came here because the menu looked good and they were pretty busy when we walked by a few nights prior.
The atmosphere was nice, and everything was clean. We were seated right as we walked in. The service was good.
I ordered the Ahi Poke Bowl and my co-worker ordered the cheese burger. The portion sizes were good and the prices weren’t bad for the size of the meals. My meal was good, but nothing mind-blowing. My co-worker enjoyed the burger, but he said the fries which came with it were hard and almost tasted stale.
Before anyone comes here be aware they charge a 3% surcharge for your meal. My co-worker believed he saw a small sign outside which stated this, but I did not see it. This was a bit of a surprise when I saw it on the receipt. The explanation on the receipt said it was to ensure their employees could receive proper benefits. They also calculated the recommended tip amounts based off the total of everything (food, 3% surcharge, and tax) rather than just the meal itself.
Overall, the experience wasn’t bad, but neither of us loved it. Neither of us plan on coming back to this restaurant.

My company hosted a few happy hour networking events here and were generally satisfied. If anyone reading this is thinking of doing the same thing, I would recommend it but they do not have private rooms just FYI.
The location really can’t be beat. It’s in the heart of downtown steps away from Union Station. Again, great for getting people to come to your networking event.
The food and drinks are all really tasty and well made. Prices during happy hour are very reasonable and selection during that time is also good with plenty to choose from. To complement the food and drinks, service has always been perfect. Huge kudos to the bartender that helped me the last time I was there. I would come back just to get served by her again.
The one downfall I would say about Thirsty Lion is that the appointment booking process was very difficult and convoluted with different people saying different things.

Happy hour here was great. The STAFF was great! 3 fantastic bartenders were welcoming and helpful with learning more about the city. Samantha, Jillian and Jasmine will provide you with great sir! I got a Hibiscus Tea with Malibu and Vodka in it and the salmon cakes.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner on our stay in Denver. Service was excellent. The menu has a lot of new american dishes. I had an Ahi tuna salad and bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. My husband had a burger. Loved everything. Will definitely go again.

I was visiting Denver with a friend and walked around the Union Station area. We had brunch in a Sunday. The cocktails were great and then the food was out of this world. I had the whiskey French toast which was great. I normally am a small eater and I couldn’t stop eating this, especially with the whiskey syrup. My friends got the chicken Benedict and fish and chips. We all tasted everything and all the meals are worth going back for. Whether you want a cocktail at the bar or food it’s a great vibe and even better food.

Food is absolutely incredible with a made from scratch kitchen. Responsible, caring employees keeping their patrons’ best interest in mind (responsible consumption). I don’t think it’s fair to give Thirsty Lion anything but 5 stars, but I think my experience wasn’t the standard they hold. They were very busy after the game and I greatly appreciate the energy and atmosphere.
