Brand New, Starbucks Alert‼️
Opened August 11, 2025.

Located on I-45, SB Exit 142. (Across the highway from Buc-ee’s). It’s the perfect spot for you, if you’re on your way to Houston. Even though Houston has a lot of Starbucks locations along I-45, most of them are usually busy and crowded during rush hour.

This one is far away from traffic. You can stop by, grab your order fast and be on your way. Or, if you’re not in a rush, like me, stop by, stay awhile and enjoy the new modern coffee shop atmosphere.

I’ve been wanting to visit this particular location since August. I visited the College Station location. A friendly college student barista, Naomi, shared with me, “Madisonville location just opened and has a really unique coffee shop feel.” She was right. Thank you, Naomi, for the helpful and great advice.

I came in to order in my personal cup, medium roast, “Casi Cielo.” – Guatemalan, floral aromatics with notes of dark cocoa. While I was enjoying my fresh brewed coffee, I also was admiring the atmosphere. The gold and brown artwork that is located to the right of the entrance is eye catching.

To compliment the rest of this coffee shop atmosphere, the interior colors are brown and black. At the Pick-Up counter, they offer large digital display to keep track of whose order is next. Entire interior space feels modern, cozy and inviting with comfortable seating throughout.

As soon as you walk in, to the right you will discover a dark colored bench with “Siren” artwork above it. Here, you have three tables with two chairs.

To the left you will discover even more seating. They offer one large, plush leather couch. Two, dark brown leather chairs with black small tables. You’ll enjoy one large conference table with eight chairs. Along large panels of windows, you will find five round tables with twelve chairs.

I always enjoy traveling to different locations and meeting new people. Josette, (28-Year Starbucks Partner), coffeehouse leader and Paula, shift supervisor – Two wonderful ladies that help each customer have a pleasant experience here.

It was impressive to see that even though I arrived here early morning, the staff were visibly taking pride in their new location. Wiping every table, pastry glass and everything else. If you enjoy southern hospitality, modern and clean atmosphere, this is more than just a coffee shop, for you.

The wait was insanely long. When we got to the window. The lady helping us named Lori was extremely rude. Not a thank you, sorry for the wait, she had a ticked off face from the time she opened the window. Just plain rude and zero customer service. She has no business working the window. Send her to the back to take trash out or handle cleaning as she’s a bad reflection of Starbucks.

This location should not even receive one star. Worst experience ever. I’ve been going to Starbucks for over 30 years and have never been a store so poorly run. I waited for over 20 minutes for my drink and finally asked for a refund. Others had waited over 30 minutes and still had not received their drinks. You can get in and out of Buc-ees faster than this store.

As I started to give our order at the drive through, we were told that they did not take debit or credit cards. I asked to the guy to repeat and again he said “we only take cash” and I said no problem I have cash. Nothing else was explained. We ordered water and coffee. We waited a long 17 minutes to get our order. There was only one car ahead of us. When I gave them cash, $100 bill, they said they didn’t take large bills. Which is fine, but I asked the cashier why didn’t they just explain this at the start and have us wait so long? I would have taken my business next door. In a very nice calm voice, I asked to please speak to the manager. The manager came to the window and now said she would take my large bill. Great. Then said she would give me change in quarters and dimes and 1 dollar bills and it would take a while to get the change. I explained to her (a woman with long dark hair with reading glasses) that you guys should have explained this at the beginning. I then suggested and explained to her.. since you guys made us wait so long and now you want to give me quarters and dimes?..why not just gift the coffee and water to us? She then said “no..have a nice day..no..” then closed the glass door while I was speaking to her. Would not talk to me any more, they all walked away from the glass door and would not come back. I was just left there. Who does this?? It was just a suggestion. I will never come to this place again. You need a new manager and I am guessing there are big problems here at this location. Very rude to do this to customers and I don’t care how new you are or how long you have worked there. it’s called common courtesy.

Hands down the longest wait and worst service I’ve ever received at a Starbucks. Yes, they were busy. BUT… I stood at the register with no other customers in front of me for over 10 min with no greeting at all. Then an additional 20 min for my coffee. They had 4 employees working.

I drive from Houston to Dallas almost three times a month, so I was really excited when I heard they were opening. I stopped by yesterday morning but unfortunately didn’t have a good experience. It seems like the team is still in training, I told them this as well. There were four ladies and a gentleman inside, no customers, and just a few in the drive-through when I walked in. Still, I had to wait about five minutes before they took my order and nearly fifteen minutes to get a simple dark roast coffee. They were busy talking with each other instead of paying attention. Unlike other Starbucks locations, you don’t even get greeted when you walk in. Hopefully, they pull it together soon.

Stood at the counter for literally about 10 minutes and no one helped us. Four people working and all taking care of the drive-through. We finally said let’s just go to McDonald’s next-door and the lady behind us said how long have y’all been standing here this is crazy. We shared it with her and she left as well.

I order through the app at this location every now and then and they have always been nice and had my coffee ready when I arrive. I live in Madisonville and know they are still figuring stuff out since they have not been open very long. But I’m glad to have a business that’s not another vape shop in our small town.
