Really dope spot

Nightly, weekly and monthly events keep the spot fresh and welcoming. Food is spectacular, a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.

The blue cheese garlic fries were definitely interesting, fried in duck fat, they had an incredible flavor, and the half bulb of roasted garlic that they let you squeeze out on your fries is a great touch.

Had the fried Chicken sandwich, swapped Nashville hot for buffalo sauce and instead of pimento cheese I had provolone. I was very pleased with both dishes.

Also, Tristan is a great waiter.

I had heard so many positive reviews from friends I had to check it out for myself. We had the burger, Philly, side salad and queso and pig skins and fries. The burger was good, just a bit over cooked- like burnt on the edges. The sauce was ok it tasted a little too much like mayonnaise. The fries were super soft and floppy, the salad was simply lettuce with half an egg cut in half- -there was chopped tomatoes- the dressing was ok- definitely not worth the $8.50. The Philly was just ok- the queso and pig skins were Cajun so very spicy.

We went for lunch at this place and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The food was excellent, especially the garlic fries and spring rolls. The lamb slam was a little dry, but overall, it’s a good spot.

hidden gem. I had a great sandwich with garlic aioli and duck fat fries and it was absolutely delicious. That said, this is not for people with weak stomachs, so be warned. It is greasy, rich, comfort food in the best way. If you are looking for something lighter, this might not be the place for you. I would still go again though. Such a solid spot.

Not sure where the negative reviews come from. This place is great. Not only do they serve food late at night, which is a GODSEND in park circle, but the staff is super easy to talk to. The food is really good too. It’s filling and the menu is unique. Never had anything like their Thanksgiving sandwich, and its now my favorite thing in the neighborhood. Anyone who rates this place low doesn’t understand what it brings to the neighborhood. 4 stars on atmosphere cuz I wish they could have more tables, but they’ve got basketball so I’d say it balances out. Also, I don’t know many other places that are as genuinely excited to celebrate your friends 21st birthday as this place was.

Excellent friendly service where people were enjoying themselves at 2 in the afternoon. The food was off the chain! Especially the home made pork rinds, duck fat fried fries, and see the photos!!

Wouldn’t call it a hole in the wall because the service is great, but it’s got that ambiance.

Clientele appears to be local. Outdoor area is great for kids and pets. Staff is very friendly.

I was in search of something local and happened to come across this lovely gem while in Charleston. Many items are homemade! I ordered the pickles for starters, and wow, they’re full of flavors – sour, salty, and heat! They know how to pickle! Then, I had to try to have a lucky sandwich and homemade pork rinds. The kimchi in the sandwich was out of this world and also homemade! Get out! I was accidentally served the duck fat fries, which were delicious! The sandwich was a bit juicy, so it made the bottom of the bun a bit soggy.

I’m so glad I stopped in for appetizing southern cuisine. The service was excellent and prompt. I tried the grapefruit radler. The encouraged graffiti is fun. The taxidermy is interesting. I would recommend this restaurant! Thanks, Tattooed Moose!

Our family from Buffalo joined us to celebrate our son’s birthday at the Tattooed Moose this Saturday night. We have been to the location on John’s Island before so the atmosphere isn’t quite as nice here but the food is just as delicious. We had an array of items on the menus such as Garlic and Blue Cheese fries; unbelievably delicious, turkey dinner sandwich, Duck Club sandwich, Cobb Salad, Porkstrami Rueben, Jumbo wings in two flavors and Tattooed Moose burger. Everything was awesome and Kali our server was very engaging and attentive to our needs; a real asset to the Moose. The music was a bit loud so having conversation was a little difficult especially when the basketball bagan banging against the backboard. The outdoor eating area is quite large although the hot humid weather last night kept us indoors.

Food was good. The Moose Burger was probably one of the better smash burgers I’ve had from a restaurant. We were in town on a whim and decided to give it a try. The decor and “graffiti” all over the building was awesome. I would definitely recommend it for visitors in town.
