Behind the Pine is a local fun spot to visit and mingle. FULL MENU UNTIL 10PM, Sunday to Wednesday and 12:00 AM Thursday, Friday and Saturday! We are open for breakfast on Saturday and Sunday starting at 6:00 AM until 2:45 PM when we transition into our lunch and dinner menu. (WE ARE NOT A CHINESE RESTAURANT) So many different types of people frequent The Pine! If you are looking for a fun watering hole, this is the place. We have a full menu with hand pressed burgers and lots of specials. We have a fun bar atmosphere and great drinks. Specials daily! We have karaoke Thursday, Saturday Sunday! 3 pool tables, 2 of them are bean new Diamond pool tables and we have 4 dart boards.

The Golden Mum is a hidden jewel for pool players on the Kitsap Peninsula. Located in Bremerton, WA at 32 NE Silver Pine Dr #200. It’s near the intersection of NE Fairgrounds Road and Central Valley Road NE.
There are three well maintained 7′ Diamond tables with plenty of spacing. Wall mounted magnets allow for easy live streaming matches with smart phones. Consistent presence of a variety of player skill levels from beginner to advanced. Top players from Western WA are there on a weekly basis, and open to accepting matches. This is also a central location for the famous local league ToTO (Top of The Olympics) with regular league play as well as multiple tournaments yearly. The very popular live stream platform ChalkBox, led by Patrick Nicks, has live streamed here. Also, nearby is the famous FNL Studios headed by Lee Baldwin who frequents the establishment. Again, some of the top players in the area and WA state are consistent visitors. So, if you enjoy pool for a game of fun, or serious match, you must visit The Golden Mum.
The atmosphere is a classic bar scene, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are great, and are easy to converse with. They exude authentic positive vibes, and go out of their way to ensure customers have what they need and want. Be sure to meet the owner Monica, and her two lovely daughters: Brieanna & Makiah. In addition, they have dedicated staff for bar and kitchen.
Food at The Golden Mum is a top notch attraction for both quality and price. You can see the menu in the pics. I personally tried the bacon cheeseburger with cheddar, and curly fries. The bun was absolutely premier, the burger thick, the fixings fresh, and juicy without being wet….PERFECT! I was there on Wednesday when this is, wait for it,….$6 with the purchase of a beverage. With the price of food today this is an amazing offering. The bar itself is well kept, and fully stocked for whatever your palate desires.
There are plenty of other distractions to enjoy: karaoke, gaming, poker, multiple large screens with a variety of content, jukebox, live comedy, other live performances, onsite ATM, multiple well maintained and clean restrooms, and more.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I was playing pool and my finger nicked the table, causing my finger to bleed. I simply asked for a napkin to hold on to my finger. I also said I would clean up the two small drops of blood that happened, (I also had my own stick so no blood hit anything except the floor) I was immediately treated horribly, they wouldnt allow me to put my own bandage on, and quarantined a huge section in the middle of the lobby where my two drops of blood hit the floor. I said I would clean it up and they wouldnt allow me, said “it’s their blood now” and proceeded to make my boyfriend clean it up with gloves . Needless to say, their actions we’re extremely unprofessional and very over dramatic for a scrape on my knuckle. This establishment needs an evaluation on many aspects.
P.s when the bar cleared I tried to go back and talk with the owner to express how she handled the very small situation and proceeded to say ” I have always had an issue with her and to leave.” I have NEVER had hard feelings towards Monica. She and I were even seemingly nice towards each other before I had an accident . Until now. I’m utterly disappointed with tonights actions.

I have never made a google review but after taking a date here what a disaster. I do not remember this place looking so dumpy. Service was subpar. The smell was horrible. Not sure about the food we didn’t stay long enough to order anything. Based on other reviews I guess I’m not the only one. Hopefully they can fix this place up.

Ok so I’ve lived here for 10yrs…at first the food here was jyst edible. Gotta say today after not eating here fora few years this place has surprisingly changed. I had something simple Garlic Chicken wings. They were flavorful juicy crispy spicy but not too much. AMAZING! I’m so glad they had new ownership. I did think the egg rolls were very very gra greasy but they were delicious. Their sweet and sour sauce was tasty. I’ve gotta say…BRAVO Golden Mum for stepping up your game. You finally made a believer out of me so you get 4 stars. If you could try to figure a way to not make your filling to your egg rolls so greasy you’ll get that next star. Don’t get me wrong I ate the 2 I got but the chicken was most def the STAR!

Decent burger for $6 on Wednesdays with fries! Atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. It’s pretty rundown in there, definitely a bar vibe. The dining area we sat in had zero lights on. Our server entered once with a huge burp. We had to get up and ask for napkins and pay, even though he was serving us in the restaurant area, because he disappeared. Also, there was no music playing except every 10 minutes or so one song would play. It was very random and off-putting. We miss their Chinese food!

We decided to finally check this place out, and were not disappointed! Food was good. We had a burger and fish n chips and both were great! Deep fried pickles were a little too salty.
