My partner and I were in Cleveland for two days and decided to dine at Palazzo, and we are so glad we did. The food and service were both excellent from start to finish. We started with the tartufo sacchetti, which was absolutely amazing. For my entrée, I had the capesante annerite. The scallops were dusted in spices, cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful. My partner had the tortellini di vitello ripieni, which was rich but incredibly delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend The Palazzo!

We made our reservation at Palazzo Restaurant a month in advance, so we were surprised to be seated in the covered patio area for winter, especially in a chilly corner. Given how far ahead we booked, we expected better seating.
Service was disappointing from the start. A nearby table of six received exceptional attention — without even involving our server — while we were largely ignored. We didn’t receive bread like the other tables and had to flag our server down just to get basic service. He only checked on us twice on his own the entire evening.
At one point, my drink sat empty three separate times while our server walked past without acknowledging it. I eventually had to call out to him to get a refill, which was frustrating and embarrassing.
As for the food, the risotto was extremely underwhelming — it tasted like plain rice in tap water with no depth of flavor. The lobster tails were okay, but nothing memorable. My wife’s short ribs with ravioli were decent and probably the highlight of the meal.
Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations set by reserving a month in advance, and the lack of attentive service really overshadowed the evening. Unfortunately, we left disappointed.

Food and service were more than excellent. Starting with a warm bread service with flavored oil was a great way to start the evening. First course of 2 different soups could have been a meal in itself. Wedding soup, and a creamy shrimp bisque. Portions could have been smaller without complaint. For our entrees I had the pasta bolognaise which was cooked and flavored perfectly. My guest had an almost unheard of in this area grouper cheeks. Allowed to try just a bit, perfect does not do that dish justice. Great food, great service, great price. Palazzo is a neighborhood gem.

Made reservations here for a friends birthday and we were super impressed. The food was excellent, our server was great, and the chef came out to say hi and chat with us for a bit, and he couldn’t have been a nicer guy. Great wine list too. We’ll be back.

Me and my wife came here on an early Valentine’s Day dinner. The food was delicious. The service was awesome. Head chef came out to check to see if we like the food or not (We loved it) just overall a great spot. Definitely will be coming back with my wife !! Thank you, Rafael and crew !!

I was taken here for a date for my birthday on 12/02/25, and it did not disappoint. Our waiter, Giuseppe I believe, did a fantastic job making sure we had everything we needed and even made some good conversation. My papardelle bolognese was absolutely delicious and I couldn’t get enough. We shared a yummy plate of Cannolis for dessert and were served a couple glasses of complimentary limoncello as we wrapped up. I highly recommend this fine Italian location!

Had a phenomenal first experience with my husband at The Palazzo. From the moment we arrived to our waitress, Michelle, recommending some amazing dishes and wonderful service. The flavor of the scallops appetizer to our entrées, it was very flavorful and filling. I do recommend reserving a table on the weekend since it is an intimate environment with limited space.

We’ve been coming for dinner for years and absolutely love Palazzo!! Had our first Sunday brunch here today and can’t say enough good things about it – delicious food with awesome menu options, great service from a kind and helpful team, and an awesome experience for our large group. We will be back for many more dinners and brunches for sure!

The service was great. Staff was friendly, kind and informative (I had a lot of questions about where the food came from and how it was prepared). The chef/owner came out and chatted with us.
Everything was fresh and delicious. The vegetables and rice were cooked perfectly al dente instead of the steamed mush many restaurants serve. The chef lets the flavors of each item speak for itself rather than over-seasoning and they blend so well in the dish.
My only issue was that the meat is from grass fed animals and I have a sensitivity to iron, so the pork chop tasted metallic to me. I wish I could have enjoyed it but my husband said it was fantastic.
The parking lot is small, but there is street parking. No, it isn’t the best neighborhood and traffic can be a bit noisy (we ate on the patio) but the location is easy to get to. Decor and vibe are calm and lovely.
This is not a Carabba’s or Bucca di Beppo. These are authentic Italian/French dishes and the chef clearly has a love for the creation of food.
Will definitely return.

Nice little Italian restaurant. Fresh pastas, good flavors, clean restaurant, and waiters who make you feel special and attended to. We had 1 martini and 1 custom Manhattan both good. The dessert looked great which we will try next time. We will be back!
