First, I will say that I have eaten at the four Rivers BBQ in Daytona Beach. So my expectation was already set that the food was amazing and the atmosphere was awesome as well. This location in Winter Park was definitely not a letdown. The food was amazing. The atmosphere is awesome. As a matter of fact, I might like this location a little better than the Daytona location. I chose to do the three meat platter and also got an extra side of cornbread. By far it’s the best way to get a great sample of their food. I chose the sausage, the smoked turkey and the brisket. You cannot go wrong with any of those. If I were going to choose two for the two meat platter I would probably choose the brisket and the sausage. My biggest decision at the end of my meal was deciding what was going to be my last bite, a piece of the sausage or a piece of the brisket. And of course, which barbecue sauce the regular or the spicy. I chose the brisket with the spicy barbecue sauce. All in all great food and absolutely worth the price. I did spend $29 and that was with a tip at the register. I did get a fountain soda and of course again I did get an extra side.

My dad makes the best smoked meat, so BBQ places are honestly hard for me to get excited about because my expectations are pretty high — but this place absolutely met them! It was amazing.
We tried a great variety of meats and sides, and everything was so good. Our favorites were the brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey — all cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The jalapeño cornbread, mac and cheese, and cheesy potatoes were the perfect pairings.
And don’t skip the BBQ sauce! Their peach habanero sauce had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and really took everything to the next level.
We’re from out of town and loved this place so much that we’ll definitely be back again before we leave!

You have got to check this place out! The gentleman at the carving station was phenomenal! He greeted us with exceptional service. The brisket, ribs and pulled pork was awesome. The mac n cheese, green beans & the corn bread were delicious. We ended at this restaurant because another BBQ place ran out of ribs,brisket,etc during the dinner hour. We were visiting the area for the first time celebrating our anniversary. We look forward to visiting this spot again.

Second time, same awful, dry, no flavor but this time it’s just a mess in container. Half pound of brisket, 15 bucks… Wasted. I’m not sure who’s cooking the brisket but it’s over cooked. It’s supposed to be moist. Even the lean portions. Lost my faith in anything different from this location.

Wanted to visit “the taste of Orlando,” something so good you could only get it here and no where else so our host amazed us with 4 Rivers with tenderest smoke meat and beautiful sides. Try it. It’s a very special place.

Once again, we had a wonderful experience at four Rivers in Winter Park. The staff is friendly and customer oriented. Upon checking out, Susan noticed that my fries were not hot. They were warm but not hot. She immediately offered hot fries. She didn’t have to do that. But as she said, “We want you to enjoy your food.”
While we were eating we noticed a young man named Gary. He was filling up the ice bins, checking on customers, even looking under tables to make sure the floor was clean. He literally did not stop once during the 20 or 30 minutes we were there.
We had The opportunity to speak with Jon, the manager. He was just as friendly and caring as the rest of his staff. Great leadership!

Being a barbecued rib connoisseur, this was one of the best service oriented restaurants we have ever had the pleasure of eating at. The ribs could have had a little better rub on them ( and buy that I mean spicier).And the sauce could have been a bit hotter and not so sweet. So really everybody has their own opinion of sweetness or spicy. Other than that, they made a darn good rib!

I found this place accidentally during a visit to Downtown Orlando, and decided to give it a try. The staff were very friendly and helpful, patiently answering our questions, even offering us samples. In the service industry, such friendliness and passion is indispensable at making the right first opinion. Stanley, one of the staff, kept checking in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed, and deserved a mention.

We ordered four types of meat: ribs, burnt ends, sausages, and beef brisket. Personally I found the ribs to be okay; the meat fell of the bones, but it was pretty mild in seasoning that I had to use copious amount of their signature BBQ sauce to amplify. The sausages were great, well seasoned with the expected snap on bite. The burnt ends deserved their rave review, and the brisket was amazing, perfect when paired with jalapeno slices and BBQ sauce.

For sides, we opted for mac & cheese and collard greens, both were great choices. The mac & cheese was solid with simple taste, a perfect contrast to strong flavours from the meat. The collard greens were a joy to eat, a good balancing factor to the rest of the dish.

Lastly, I have to sing praises about the wings. As recommended, we ordered the wings original with the Buffalo sauce on the side. Even without the sauce, the wings were so flavourful, the seasoning seeping into the chicken. I would make sure that I will order wings on subsequent visits, which I’m sure will happen in the future.
