Tekka Bar is located inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel. There is only bar seating, so depending on the time of day, you may have to wait for a seat.
The menu is small, which makes it easy to decide what to order. We both chose the “Foursome” for $32, which includes four hand rolls. Each roll is served individually as you finish the previous one.
Overall, the rolls were good. We both felt the rice could have been seasoned a bit more, but that was our only criticism.
In the end, we were happy with the food.

Everyone here was super attentive but not too much. The food was delicious and I definitely wish I had enough room for the special but overall I had the yellowtail Serrano sashimi which I would have missed if my random bar mate hadn’t recommended it and the waitress confirmed. Then I had the salmon roll, scallop, blue crab, and toro. The special was their take on a Philly roll but crème fraiche instead. People enjoyed it from the looks of it! Super fast turnaround even if there’s a line. I think it’s good for 1-4 people in a group but even the latter is pushing it. The chefs were super good at giving tips and making sure we got ginger if needed. I absolutely love sushi and I liked choosing my own combination bc I knew I would like toro more than their spicy tuna hand roll. Overall it came to around $50 total with tip which I think is expected for the fresh fish and service. It is in the food court but I prefer this set up to a full sit down

The food was delicious. I had the spicy tuna, yellowtail, and toro handrolls, served with soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger. I love sushi, and their spicy tuna handroll was the best of the three I had.

Everyone working here was attentive without being overbearing. The service was very fast. I sat at the bar, but I also saw several people get their to-go orders quickly.

It feels best suited for 1–2 people. My total came to about $40 with tip, which felt reasonable for Las Vegas. It’s located in the Cosmopolitan food court, which is noisy but not unbearable.

Located in the food court at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, this hand rolled sushi spot has about 15-20 bar stools for seating. Otherwise there is seating throughout the food court.
The hand rolls are made right in front of you so you can be assured they are fresh. They have a number of Sake’s available and cold beer to wash down your food.

What a fantastic hidden gem inside Aria hotel! The absolute highlight are the handrolls- so fresh, so crispy from outside and tender from inside – simply melting in my mouth. They are freshly prepared one by one to eat immediately. My absolutely favorite handroll was Toro! Also Lobster and King Crab handrolls were excellent!
I also tried Tuna Poké Bowl and the Miso Soup, as well as the starters – cevice, crispy prawns, tuna crispy rice.

This is an awesome spot for some quick, quality food. We ordered the 3-handroll option: salmon, yellowtail, and spicy tuna. The tuna was our favorite—very good! The fish and rice were fresh, and the service was fabulous. It’s not the best sushi I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely a solid choice if you need something quick.

The hand rolls are big, but I will just say prices are on par with everything else on the strip, especially in a hotel like Cosmo ($ on the high end…). The food wasn’t bad though, and came out fast. The special sauces were really good.

Super cool spot that you can walk up to and sit down without any fuss. Quick and friendly staff. Not a ton of options as far as sushi goes, but what I did have was excellent. I got the Salmon, Yellowfin, Toro, and Spicy Tuna rolls and would recommend and get them again without hesitation.

Tekka Hand Roll Bar at the Cosmo is a great spot for fresh, made-to-order hand rolls. The fish was high quality, and the king crab was the standout—sweet, fresh, and definitely worth ordering. Portions are solid and the experience is quick and fun. Prices are a bit high, but overall it’s a solid sushi stop on the Strip and worth trying.

October 2025: I stopped at Tekka bar for a late lunch and sat at the counter. I ordered a matcha green tea, and three hand rolls: salmon, yellowtail, and Toro (fatty tuna). They were all amazing! Fresh quality, tender meat, and I liked how fast and simple the service was. My favorite roll was the yellowtail.

Since I sat at the counter, I got to meet and talk with a man named Ynot. He was making the hand rolls and he was so sweet and friendly. I really enjoyed my experience at Tekka and would go back again! Shoutout to Ynot!!
