Dec25- prefer this site to the St Albans one. Parking outside. Friendly service. Sumptuous meals which taste fresh. Disappointed it doesn’t have a wider vegetarian main selection. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Not inexpensive . We had brows to start, lasagna and a seafood pasta main , and cheesecake. Would love the (brie) cranberry sauce for the cheesecake!

Very disappointing experience with our takeaway order which we collected from the restaurant (from the manager guy himself) – we ordered a garlic pizza bread and upon getting home and opening, we discover he’s actually given us someone else’s leftover pizza instead of our garlic bread.
When we called the restaurant to let them know, the same manager answered the phone, and is unwilling to offer a refund and is quite stand-offish about it. Understand mistakes happen, but it’s the responsibility of the person in charge to make things right. Thankfully he handed the phone to another lady who was more helpful and agreed to refund the cost of the garlic bread.
No other compensation offered even though we were given someone else’s meat pizza leftovers (we’re vegetarian). Especially disappointing as the garlic bread is actually very good and my kids were looking forward to it.

Very relaxed place with great food – we were very impressed and it was much better than we expected! Fresh and juicy, definitely best garden salad and mussels I have had in recent years. Highly recommended and will go back soon.

Blown away by this place. Fantastic location, lovely staff and the food was outstanding. The chef reluctantly but kindly removed alcohol from the Spaghetti Scoglio di Sorrento dish but it was phenomenal regardless (thank you chef). Would highly recommend and cannot wait to return!
