I eat here a lot, mostly for special occasions, and I have never had a bad experience. I’ve had Eva a couple times as a server and she is so kind She is very attentive to tables, helps with pickups, and greets guests. Food is always excellent, you can tell it’s made with care.

Unfortunately, this place fell short for me. Overall, the food felt basic and mediocre. The French toast tasted like it was premade or frozen, and the syrup didn’t taste authentic–it came off more like the generic, artificial kind. They don’t offer grits, and the potato hash was honestly the worst I’ve had: bland and overcooked. There weren’t any breakfast combos that appealed to me either–the menu seems designed to make you spend more by ordering everything à la carte. I ended up paying $3.79 for a small cup of coffee, which felt overpriced for what it was.
It’s possible this place used to be better before Denny’s bought them out, but now it feels like the same quality as a typical diner chain. That might explain why they’re popping up everywhere.

If I’m ever back in Florida I will definitely be looking for another Keke’s. We visited 2 in 5 days and they were both amazing. Our server Stevi was so tentative and good was amazing.

I had an incredible dining experience here at Keke’s in Deland.
First my service and breakfast were phenomenal. Hot and fresh food and the service provided by Ava was impeccable.
On my way out I witnessed your manager on her hands and knees cleaning the floor!! What!! I even told her I’ve never seen a manager do that before and she so humbly responded, “I lead by example. I like a clean cafe” Holy crap I was blown away and highly impressed!
You definitely have my vote and will be a returning customer!! Impressive business I hope the corporate or franchise takes care of these ladies- hard workers are hard to find

When I went in today I was greeted by the host with the red hair. He truly made me feel welcome. When I came in a few days before he was there with two other girls at the front desk yet he was the only one truly made me feel welcome. I was quickly sat and I’ve had some of the best service I’ve had in a while. I believe the servers name was Jasmine?? Not sure but amazing service.
