I ordered a tarte flambée (Flammkuchen) during happy hour and received the one shown in the photo. It was not tasty at all, visibly burnt, and tasted like burnt bread. I asked for a replacement, but the staff member initially tried to convince me that this was “the concept.” I pointed out that everyone around me had theirs properly cooked, so he eventually brought me another one. Although it was less burnt, it still had no taste.
The two stars are only because he agreed to change it.
However, throughout my meal I was repeatedly asked by another staff member if I needed anything else. As I was about to finish, she brought me the bill without me asking, which made me feel they wanted me to leave. I understand the place is small and busy and they need to free tables, and I wasn’t planning to stay long anyway, but there must be a more polite way to handle this.

The food was good. We paid €44 for what you see on the table and a bottle of water (30.05.25).
However, there was sometimes a heavy, unpleasant smell inside. We thought it might be coming from the kitchen — maybe a vegetable or pork.
We chose to sit in a corner where there wasn’t much food smell.
We waited around 10 minutes for our food, which is reasonable considering the restaurant is quite popular.
It’s one of the older restaurants in the city, so that might explain the smell.
The place is quite spacious, and even if there’s a line at the door, the wait is usually no more than 10 minutes.
Flammkuchen is one of the most popular dishes here.
They also have a terrace outside, but it was too cramped, so we chose to sit inside.
The staff were fast and attentive.
Overall, it was a good experience — we were satisfied.

Really good and special beers from their own brewery. They serve homemade burgers, pizzas, chicken, and steaks. The prize is at the low end, which is good. The service was really good and professional, even though they were very busy. Happy hours from 5pm to 7pm (17.00 to 19.00) buy 50cl of beer or soda and get it for the price of 25cl.

The food was good and typical of Alsace, I had good flammekeuche and bettelmanm au kogelhopf! And also some blanche beer! Moreover, in the afternoon till 18.30 there is Happy Flam, which makes it super convenient!

The place was reaaaally busy but the staff still managed to offer a really good service. The food was great, as well as their beer. And the prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend.
