Ordered chicken biryani and I personally rate it higher than all the other biryanis I’ve had in CT. The place is clean and the customer service was very good. The portion size was more than enough (had to get a box). Food arrived in under 5 minutes. Will come back again. The one thing which they can improve is the drinks menu and probably also make the drinks taste more true to their name.

I love, love, love Hasna’s grill . The food is homemade goodness. Fresh and delicious. You can tell it’s made with love . Great customer service and friendly. And the sauces are amazing!!! Rating decreased for the following reasons. Food portion reduced. What’s the point of calling it a Butter Chicken lunch special when receiving more rice and salad than chicken. The sauce placed over the rice makes the butter chicken portion look larger than actual quantity of chicken.

From first-time customer to regular customer. I purchased a chicken wrap ($6.99) with small fries ($2.99). The food was fresh and tasty. The chicken has a tint of Cajun taste to it. I intentionally took a photo of the food next to their menu for measurement purposes.
I checked out their lunch special ($9.99) menu, and both the advertised combo’s with Rice & Chicken are fresh & well made.
The environment is typically clean and spotless, and customer service is dependent on whether you get a female or male. The males tend to be rough around the edges, and the females are typically friendly and polite.
(DISCLAIMER) Unlike other restaurants, they won’t cut your wrap in half unless you request it. I’ve also noticed that more times than not, they won’t place plastic utensils with your to-go meal.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in town. I usually go for the mix grill and lentil soup. The butter chicken pizza is awesome. Big portions. The owners are some of the nicest people too. Check em out.

The food was good. However, the cost and ordering process was deceptive. We had lunch for 4 and for drinks we request a soft drink and one yogurt drink and 2 water. They brought 4 teas charging us $16 and for 3 yogurt drinks they charged $9 and hummus that we never asked for $ 16. We end up paying $151 for lunch for 4 people. Also they kept the door open for 10 minutes the restaurant was cold. That was highway robbery!! That was our last time going there. They lost 4 customers !

This was my first time there! The food was ok but nothing to write home about! The ground beef kabobs was salty, very dry , had cumin in it and a bit spicy! The Ghabeli polo( rice) was ok , again nothing special compared to other Afghan Resturants ! The tea was $4.00 and a bit too much for an ordinary Resturant! Not a place I would recommend to my friends ! You may want to try it , give them a bit of business and discover for yourself!

When asked for the invoice at the end of the meal, I was asked to come and pay at the counter. It’s not a big deal.
I asked for the receipt after I made the payment. The receipt had a service charge and the tip I paid separately.
When asked the reason for this service charge, I was told that it is charged to every dine-in customer and it is the “Table Charge” rather than the tip or the service fee.
There is no mention of this charge on the menu and anywhere in the restaurant. Not against paying what is fair, but the practice of not giving the invoice ahead of payment and charging the Table Charge without any mention of it anywhere beforehand is deceiving and unethical.
I have visited this place frequently with the family (did not ask for the receipt in the past but always felt I paid more than what I ordered), and the food is decent, but I don’t plan on returning to this place after this incident.

Recently we visited this place and were very disappointed. The menu is completely misleading — what you see and what you actually get are two very different things. We ordered their special mix kebab, Kabuli with lamb shank, and fish and chips. The mix kebab came with only two small pieces of each — chicken, tandoori, and beef. The Kabuli portion was tiny, and the fish and chips for my kid had barely ten fries on the plate. The portions are extremely small compared to the high prices they charge.
I was so disappointed that I even forgot to take pictures. We called the server and asked to speak with the manager before we started our meal, but she said he was busy in the back. By the end of the meal, we just decided not to wait for him. Overall, not worth the money or the experience — I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food and sauces is AMAZING, with a wide variety of choices to choose from it’s hard to just pick 1. Staff were also very knowledgeable and kind making me feel welcomed into the restaurant. 100% recommended.
