Reviews
I do want to mention that the crab was well prepared — that was the only real positive about the food.
Everything else felt too greasy, with a lot of oil, lacking spices and flavor balance. It also seemed rushed, without proper technical preparation.
Desserts were very basic — standard cakes, nothing special or memorable.
The staff was polite and fast with service, and responsive when something was needed. The restaurant itself is fairly spacious.
Overall, I wouldn’t come back again. The price is too high for the quality. However, for a one-time visit and experience, it’s okay.
There were so many more options than what we usually see back home, and the ingredients felt much fresher. With how expensive food has become in Canada, this was such a great experience and value.
You can really taste the quality and care in the food. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Japanese buffet style cuisine.
The hot food suck!!!! Nothing is replaced except the cheap stuff like rice and noodles and some shrimp
We got there at 6:00
And at 7:30
They ran out of fried shrimp and NEVER REPLACED !!
We waited for long time for some of
The food
To be replaced and they never were
The photos are the state of the food at 8:00pm!!!
And they say they close at 10:00? At 8:30
Nothing else
Is replaced and the staff start quickly cleaning to get the hell out
This place is snort for a reason!
The owners should take a stroll
Around their competitors like the amazing MIZUMI, and some others in Fort Lauderdale which never stop Pouring Out fresh food ! And the atmosphere is lively!
This place is a drab and they had better days! At this point I believe must be a money laundry business because they obviously don’t care
What save this place is the sashimi cuts and some nice sushi, but judging from other reviews that’s going down too
Some items were a bit hit or miss (like the fried stuff being a little cold), but overall the quality was better than expected for the price. Staff were friendly and quick to clear empty plates, which I appreciated. Not the best buffet I’ve ever been to, but definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and hungry for a lot of food. Will probably be back!
It’s never overly crowded, which makes the experience relaxed and enjoyable, and the food quality honestly surprised me for a buffet. One of my favorite parts is their ice cream selection — easily some of the best I’ve had at a buffet.
If you’re looking for a reliable, affordable spot with solid variety and a comfortable atmosphere, this place is definitely worth trying.
When I was seated I requested a water for my table while I headed over to try things out.
I will first say there was a smell when I first walked in that I ignored because of how long it took me to get there I didn’t feel like leaving. It’s a slight rotting fish smell. This was the main reason why I didn’t try the sushi even tho I am a sushi lover.
I stuck to cooked foods.
First try was the hibachi it was very well cooked and flavorful although the gentlemen preparing it was not friendly what so ever.
He was very friendly with the child that came after me tho..you can guess what race I am with this observation.
I tried the hot and sour soup and paired my hibachi with broccoli, green beans, two gyoza, short rib, a chicken dish, a mushroom side, a beef dish and a little bit of their rice and a shrimp tempura.
The food tasted okay but the hottest thing was the hibachi , everything else was warm or room temp but not hot and fresh.
I was also told there is no yum yum sauce but I don’t know how true that is.
When I sat down I wanted a drink and waited for my waitress for a long time to notice me but she didn’t. I wouldn’t have expected much service from a buffet unless I had a perfect example of my waitresses amazing service RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Yes the table right next to me. I observed her being charming and engaging and very attentive with them while walking past me and ignoring me. Finally I got up and spoke to a manager and asked for another waitress and instead of getting me another one he got me my drink so I was able to get a drink.
It was a Sapporo it was cold and good.
I believe the energy of a place is just as important as the quality of food. Sometimes when u feel like u are not wanted somewhere it makes for a bad experience which is unfortunate.
I opted out of dessert and another plate because of this.
The same waitress that couldn’t be bothered was magically right there when it was time for me to check out.
Funny how they are always there to facilitate you leaving swiftly
I left her a tip even tho I’m sure she treated me like that because I was a solo diner right couldn’t be anything else. I’m sure she assumed I wouldn’t tip only cause of that reason
All in all would I visit again? No. Is it worth 40 dollars for dinner ? No.
