This Cantonese comfort food has given you great options and some spices. The homemade chili oil is amazing. I love the portion and a flavor. The parking spot is convenience. Make sure to try the dishes from the picture I have posted. I would definitely go back to try my dishes.

I came here because of the rating when I got there. I got a little questionable because there was no one in there. But as I talked to CJ our server, he explained to us that it was just a slow period at the moment which to me means we came at the perfect time to enjoy. He explained to us that everything is made fresh. As you order which everything we tasted was very delicious. Tasted very fresh and our server CJ was very professional and very helpful if I wasn’t doing business out here definitely would be eating this place on a once A week to probably twice a week. Basis just to try all the other dumplings and all the other fresh dishes. Another thing that didn’t make the pictures was the cheese wontons very delicious Very crispy, served with sweet-and-sour sauce to dip in! In short, really need to try this place It’s AMAZING!!

I was really craving some dim sum, so my husband and I decided to check out this restaurant and wow, what a great choice! From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely outstanding; every bite was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can really taste the quality in each dish.

The service was also excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised when one of the servers even spoke Spanish to me, such a nice touch that made the experience even more personal and welcoming.

The restaurant itself has a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, with a mix of booths and regular tables. They were playing Halloween movies when we went, which added a fun, seasonal vibe to the meal.

A definite must-try here is the pork siu mai, it contains water chestnuts for that extra texture, and also their signature teas. I ordered the passion fruit tea and my husband got the strawberry; both were refreshing, beautifully presented, and the perfect complement to the meal.

AAAAustin!
you do not disappoint. This “NYer for life” keeps finding all this gems of food and vibes, which for a long time, has caused to call Austin the “BETTER VERSION” of NYC. Yeah, I said it
Why? come try this cozy restaurant and it’s amazing flavors of Sichuan style cooking, then go take a walk alongside the Colorado River on downtown, and you’ll feel the energy of central park, but with the enhanced beauty of the river, and parking spaces thay dont ruin your mood. .
This spot is a must try for the palate.

Update #2 on 2/27/26: Already NOT was it used to be. Noodles are no longer hand pulled and much thinner. I am left needing something more as I am not satisfied. An order of extra side noodles is now $7!

Beef potstickers were not very good. The filling is fine but the exterior was not made right. Too gummy and, not sure if tacky is the right word..

Soup dumplings are same at least.

-End update 2.-

Best beef noodles on the southside?

G3 is what you want. Spicy peppercorns with fresh chili slices. G2 was ok. I had to add 2 heaping spoonfuls of chili oil. The beef portions were acceptable but flavor wasn’t the best we had. Still ok. I want to try G4 next time to see what the difference is netween all the hot/spicy/braised combinations. The noodles were thin like ramen noodles. We liked it but prefer rice noodles which they don’t have here. Comparable to Dumpling World.

Dumplings were ok. Black pepper udon wasn’t for me. Not much non-pork options so menu was limited for us.

UPDATE:
G4 is spicy noodles without the tongue numbing peppercorn flavor and no fresh peppers added like the G3. G1 is good. The soup as a creamy color with daikon radish for a clean deep flavor similar to Korean seullung tang. G2 is brown soup, same as G3 and 4 just no spicy.

Beef roll (burrito) was tasty but too much housin sauce. Wish it had more shredded leek/green onions for more fresh crispy flavor. The fried exterior was perfectly crispy. Not as fat as another location but ratio was great.

Chicken soup dumplings were out of stock last time so we got to have some today. Those were great. Place one on a spoon to take a bite and sip the soup first before devouring. Had to order another because children liked it so much.

Beef and chicken potstickers were ok. Beef was better than chicken. Wish it had a little more crisp.

This place was fantastic! A 15 minute wait for a table of four on a Friday night is totally reasonable. Since it was our first visit, we went all out and everything was incredible. The staff was amazing one of the male servers did an excellent job explaining the menu and recommending dishes (I wish I had caught his name) but honestly everyone was wonderful. You could really tell they work as a team.
We ordered the pork soup dumplings, crispy plum shrimp, mild black pepper chicken udon, beef and broccoli, garlic string beans, chicken chow mein, and braised beef soup—and every single dish was delicious. I wish I got a picture of everything we ordered. We’ll definitely be coming back with our family and friends!

Well hot damn, finally we are getting some good, affordable Chinese food in south Austin!

Checked this place out on a Sunday night and had to wait about 10 min to be seated. The vibe was lively and the staff was busy making sure everyone was taken care of. Food was really great, too – the soup dumplings were solid but the star of the show for me was the dry pot cabbage. That will be a repeat order. We ordered 4 things for around $50. Portions were great.

My only criticism is that I wish they offered little bowls for us to mix our vinegar and ginger before we pour it into our dumplings. However, they could never do that and I would still go!!! Def go check it out!

Great to have a dim sum place in South Austin. They may have changed the name recently. Google has them as Bee dumpling but the location is called One Bite dumpling. It is a very approachable restaurant if you’re not familiar with Chinese cuisine. The entire menu is also in English and they mainly stick to dishes that most people will know.

Ordered the pepper beef udon, pork soup dumplings, and beef scallion roll. Favorite was the beef roll; perfectly crisp with a a good mix of salty, sweet, and fresh flavors. Food portions are hearty.
Front of house was clean and staff was helpful and attentive

Omg, this is hands down the best Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been to! Their spicy beef noodle soup was incredible, perfectly spicy, with soft, delicious noodles. There was a girl with curly hair who recommended it to me (I wish I’d gotten her name!) and I’m so glad she did. I also tried their fried rice, and it’s easily one of the best I’ve had, full of flavor and generous portions. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, which just makes the experience even better. 10/10 recommend!
