Amazing place!!!! Possibly the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had, better than Panera! Amazing cheesy garlic bread. Such a good place! Friendly staff, and very clean inside!!! 10/10 recommend. Come to picklemans! Amazing food!

This restaurant has outstanding sandwiches. Their best is their roast beef with au jus juice. So delicious! They also have pizza which isn’t that bad. For those who love sandwich restaurants, definitely give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Your app does not list which sandwiches are toasted, nor does it give an option to request a sandwich not be toasted. I want to be clear that this appears to be a corporate/app issue, not a decision made by the local store or its employees.
I ordered a turkey bacon club to go, fully expecting it to be a cold sandwich, as that is how a club sandwich is traditionally served. Instead, it came hot — with warm mayo and hot tomatoes — which was extremely unpleasant.
If I had known the sandwich would be toasted by default, I would not have ordered it. This was my first time eating at Pickleman’s, and unfortunately it will be my last unless this issue is fixed. Please update the app to clearly indicate when sandwiches are toasted and provide a “not toasted” option.

Today I embarked on a mission, with a previous love of the restaurant franchise picklemens. At this particular establishment, I was greeted with nothing but kindness, spectacular atmosphere and music, and most importantly MAGNIFICENT food. I will forever hold this pickleman’s dear to my heart. Thank you to the workers who served me, this experience really reminded me what it means to be a true mid-western American.

We demolished the Italian beef and white cheddar Mac. The camera did not eat first. You can’t beat a sandwich with Au Jus. The Italian beef had the perfect amount of spice. This is coming from a spicy food lover. The spice was mellowed out by the creamy Mac and cheese. The shells were cooked to perfection and ended up creating little balls of cheese that explode in your mouth. Highly recommend Pickleman’s

Pickleman’s has Columbia, MO roots and a small Midwest footprint. Creative sandwiches and friendly staff, but in KC’s sandwich scene, value and execution matter.
This carryout order:
Italian Beef (#9) – Beef dipped in au jus and topped with giardiniera. Juicy and flavorful, with extra au jus for dipping. Best of the bunch.
Chipotle Chicken (#17) – Chicken, lettuce, chipotle ranch. Flavor’s there, but the chicken’s coated in sauce before toasting, which makes it mushy. Season and grill first, then add sauce (like a condiment) afterward—it would shine.
Asiago Chicken (#6, previous visit) – Chicken, bacon, provolone, asiago Caesar dressing. Good flavor but salty; same sauce-before-toasting issue.
I like that many of these proteins (Italian beef, chipotle chicken, asiago chicken, Hogfather) also show up on their tavern-style pizzas, which I’d still like to try.
Why three stars? It’s not the food—quality is solid—but compared to other sandwich shops, they rarely run deals or coupons. In a competitive market, value matters.
