I checked this place out for the first time day and I had a good experience. I had a bacon Egg & Cheese on a Croissant and an Apple Danish. The danish was ok and the sandwich was great. Will be back to try other items, if anyone has any suggestions leave me a comment.

I have been here twice. The breakfast food is good but there isn’t anything special about it. The coffee I had was absolutely amazing! I had a seasonal coffee. The wait time for your items is INSANE! So you can go to the place and order in person or you can order online. Because it’s a small local shop I think the weekends can be incredibly hectic. The vibe is so adorable and classic. When it isn’t crawling with people I’m sure it would be a pleasent spot to sit and eat. We did eat there once and there was a conversation happening so loud at a table diagonal to us that we practically were apart of it. Even the table beside us looked uncomfortable. I can imagine this place is great to visit during the week on a cool fall morning. Good luck with your visit. I will say this… the coffee is worth the visit! Oh and the prices are pretty steep so be prepared to pay.

My first time at Drift Away and my first time having a matcha latte ever, and I enjoyed everything. I got a strawberry matcha latte, so delicious! We even chatted with some of the other customers there and one of them told us how much they love the cream puffs. I’ll definitely be returning to try some more of their drinks and sandwich options.

I have never had a better cup of coffee. I have no clue what coffee is used or wizardry is done (specifically speaking on their iced coffee) but it is incredible. The type of drink you just want more of. Once I was waiting for the food to be done and drank the whole cup and ordered another one. So many great seasonal flavors. Breakfast sandwiches are amazing too (hoping pepper jack is added as a cheese option).

PS: Yes wait times on weekends can be astronomical but I’d rather a local place have a ton of business then be empty 🙂

Always love coming to this place, I come every saturday, until yesterday when my husband went to pickup our order, as he was grabbing the drinks put into a carrier he dropped them right infront of the pickup window. He apologized, even though it was an accident. The front counter girl was so nice about it and was willing to remake our drinks, the owner made her charge us half off the original price for remaking our drinks, of course I paid for them AGAIN! The owner never showed their face to us just told to them charge us again if we still wanted our drinks. I’m sorry but for that customer service they definitely lost a loyal customer. Here we are a day later and their still adding charging money to my card as if I didn’t spend enough there yesterday.

Cute place, pretty busy at 9:30 on a Friday morning, waited about 20 min for a Carmel latte but they do have an option to scan a QR to order and wait in the car, they have plastic up but it doesn’t do much to keep the heat in or wind out. Heaters would be clutch. Latte was delicious and atmosphere was super cute!! Can’t wait to come here when it’s warm

Love this place! Such a super cute vibe. Live the outdoor seating area. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious & lunch sandwiches are delicious. Love their menu as well. Small tip for those who plan on visiting… order ahead on your phone. The wait is much shorter if you do so!
Very convenient that Napoleon’s is only a few short steps away to get some delicious cream puffs while you wait.

Excellent venue for al fresco dining with its spacious patio. QR code ordering streamlines the process, perfect for grabbing a quick breakfast sandwich—the sausage, egg and cheese is a winner! Excellent selection of traditional and contemporary coffee items. Clean restrooms are a plus. The outdoor-only setup is lovely on sunny days, but less ideal in poor weather. While the ambiance is casual and breezy, dress and plan accordingly. Overall, it’s a convenient, tech-forward suburban spot for a quick bite and coffee when the weather cooperates.
