Wonderful, locally-owned coffee shop. Conveniently located at the 4-way stop. Can’t beat the flavor, as they roast their own coffee beans! They have everything you’d want, from a simple cup of coffee to flavored lattes, teas, milkshakes, and french sodas. You can even buy their beans and take them home to make your own cup in the morning. Highly recommend.

French Press offers a fairly comprehensive variety of coffee beverages both hot and cold all based on the owner’s specially sourced, blended and personally roasted beans. The flavor is as rich and smooth as any big city coffee shop, and better than most. They also offer a good selection of non-coffee containing hot and cold drinks including a decent array of tea and several smoothie flavors.
The pastries on offer at french are all locally baked in small batches and are second to none. From cinnamon rolls, biscotte and cranberry scones to cheese cake brownies and peach kolaches, the varying treats are rarely the same day to day. You never know what will be in the display case but you can be certain it will be scrumptious and that the service will be friendly.

Great place to come and sit down and have a cup of Joe, but not just any ordinary cup of Joe… Some of the best around 🙂 what it warm your heart as well as your stomach! I recommend it highly, If you are either stopping in while going through Plainville don’t miss the spot!
