Kudos to Lucky 32 for opening for lunch on Christmas’s Eve!
Ambiance is warm, welcoming!
Services were great, from checking in to table, our server was knowledgeable, attentive.
Food was hit and miss, we ordered 4 different dishes: jambalaya, bacon wrapped meat loaf, shrimps and grit, goat cheese spinach chicken , all were just OK, the She-crab soup and butternut squash soup and Truffle Fries were great though!
Prices were really reasonable, no special charges for holidays which is a god thing!

My family and I returned to Lucky 32 thanks to a gift card from a friend, and it felt like a welcome revisit to a place we hadn’t dined at in some time. We reviewed the menu ahead of arrival and were seated immediately, a smooth and hospitable start to the evening.
Our server, Alex G., was thoughtful and attentive, with an ease that belied the fact that he’d only been there a month. What stood out most was his honesty. When unsure of an answer, he took the time to check rather than guess, a small but meaningful detail that spoke to his pride in the experience he was delivering.
We ordered the pan-seared brick chicken served with pan gravy, roasted root vegetables, and buttered green beans, along with the cornmeal-crusted catfish accompanied by slaw, creole mayonnaise, creamy grits, and more green beans. Everything arrived hot, well composed, and satisfying. While the plates are served fully assembled and ingredients do touch, I would have preferred the coleslaw on the side. That said, the flavors more than made up for it.
The pecan espresso martini was a highlight. Rich, indulgent, and beautifully balanced, it is absolutely worth ordering for anyone without a nut allergy.
We dined in the evening when the ambiance is intentionally low-lit and intimate. Those who prefer more light may want to request a brighter table. Practical details were also well covered with a clean restroom and ample parking.
Overall, Lucky 32 delivered a consistently enjoyable dining experience. Confident food, genuine service, and a welcoming atmosphere make it a solid choice and one we were happy to return to.

I took my family to Lucky 32 to welcome the new year. It did not disappoint. The place was packed so we booked an early dinner. The staff working the holiday were kind, attentive and made us feel welcome. The food and drinks were fantastic! Our server, Brady, was there every time we needed him but didn’t rush the celebratory meal. We had a variety of food including some corn bread and pickled okra while waiting for our entrees. We enjoyed bacon wrapped meatloaf, brick chicken, and a chicken with goat cheese and spinach. Deserts included brownies with ice cream and a sweet potato cheesecake. The sizes were very shareable. We also enjoyed Shirley Temples for the kids and a variety of unique, seasonal cocktails

Just left this place — we made a reservation through OpenTable and got seated right on time. Really liked the menu — great variety, plenty of high-protein options, and solid appetizers too. Service was excellent — super polite and attentive staff, no complaints at all. The atmosphere was also really nice: dim lighting, chill background music, and quiet enough to have a normal conversation without shouting.
I ordered the Delta Pasta — it was great overall, but the bacon was way too salty. I ended up drinking four glasses of water just from that one dish. Not sure if it was the bacon or the seasoning, but yeah, definitely salty.
My wife got the steak and loved it, especially the garlic sauce on the side.
We left with a really good impression and will definitely come back again.

Visited Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen as a 1st time patron. I typically do not dine in Cary often as all of my dining needs are met in Raleigh. When I arrived the parking area was jam packed with cars ( that was a good sign to me as it signaled delicious food). Because there was no reservation, bar seating was ideal. The bar staff were great, cool energy and fan-tab-ulous cocktails. The current fall pecan cocktail menu will be around until Nov. 12th. The She-Crab soup was really good. I ordered the catfish with green beans and grits. The beans were so buttery and flavorful. The grits were tasty. The cat fish was beautifully fried, but unfortunately it was not flavorful at all ( I carried home, fixed the season less catfish and throughly enjoyed)
The bar staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the drinks and alcohols. They use NC branded spirits or their cocktails when possible. I think that’s cool. I plan to return to try another meal that caught my eye.

It had been a few years since I patronized Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen, but that is going to change! We had an absolutely enchanting experience with excellence displayed from start to finish. I am a customer service connoisseur–I love warm, friendly, pleasant people! At Lucky, the staff greet guests with smiling faces. The ambience is a plus, including plenty of off-street free parking. A minor negative is that out of 5 stalls in the ladies’ room, two had doors that didn’t lock. Back to the goodies: THE FOOD, yummy, yummy, yummy! I got the southern fried chicken, collard greens, mashed potatoes, and cornbread — they served a king’s portion that required a take-home box! My husband ordered the meatloaf wrapped in bacon and was love-struck! The fried green tomato appetizer was delectable. Finally, the sister with the copper twist/locs who brought our food ushered in glee. DANIEL is the super server of the month! His timing was impeccable, his knowledge of the menu impressive, and his quiet demeanor spoke volumes. We immediately decreed that Lucky 32 is in our rotation of restaurants we must visit regularly. I suggest you do the same!

Loved this place! The menu is clearly marked gluten free and there’s so many tasty options. There’s so many delicious appetizers, we may be back just to have appetizers. The interior is calm and not loud, and the waitress was great. Our cocktails were delicious and we had a lovely time.

Supreme friendly and attentive staff. Food was delicious. Had crab cake appetizers, then entrees were the bacon wrapped meatloaf, catfish and grilled salmon. All were delicious and decently priced for the quality and amount. Went for lunch.

I really love this place, and the food is always excellent. The only disappointment this time was that they no longer have printed kids’ menus or crayons, which makes dining with children a little less fun.
I also tried the flourless cake, and it wasn’t as creamy or sweet as I expected, and the portion of whipped cream felt a bit small for such a big slice. The whipped cream itself could have been sweeter, too. I order flourless cake often, so I may just have high standards
Overall, the meal and experience were still wonderful, and I look forward to coming back.
