My neighbor told about this place so, I was excited to try this place. Im Mexican, born in Mexico hoping to find another place to eat at besides Las Margaritas. So, I couldn’t wait to try some authentic tacos. I’m sad to say my barbacoa beef tacos weren’t flavorable. The tacos were made with the smallest flour tortillas. It didn’t come with rice or beans which Id expected. It was 3 tacos for $15.50. We waited a very long time for our food (soft flour tortilla tacos). They must have been backed up with online orders. There’s not much seating so, have one person in your party tell you what they want, so, they can get a table for you. The staff behind the counter was kind & friendly. Id come back to give it another chance.

I don’t ever feel the need to write a review but I feel ripped off. I’m always open to trying new places and always have an open mind. This was disappointing. I paid 58$ plus I tipped for to go. The rice wasn’t good and the birria tacos were so tiny I can’t believe it was 24$ for it. I can go to gallos and get 3 that taste so much better for 15$ on top of the that the picture of the guacamole and chips was misleading because the picture online looks so much bigger. I paid 11$ for maybe half and avocado. It was good but not worth 11$. I think the prices need to be looked over because you get what you pay for except I did not in fact get what I paid for.

This place has a simple menu that sticks to the basics, but does so with excellent quality. I came for a lunch break one day with a few other folks, and everybody was very pleased. The breakfast burrito (with chicken) and regular ground beef burritos were super flavorful, juicy, and satisfying. The salsa verde made mine even better. We waited about 20 minutes for our meals at noon. It’s a relatively small place, but there was room to sit at that hour. I’d come back any day.

Nothing close to Mexican food at all but it’s not terrible. Pricey for small portions. If you enjoy gentrified tacos this is the spot. Simple salt & pepper most spice is from the hot sauce bar(which is pretty cool) but nothings really flavorful.

An interesting take on tacos, personally not for me. Where’s the bacon/sausage/chorizo option for a breakfast burrito? That’s really my main issue. Cooked well, seasoned well, albeit a little dry with the chicken, but come on with the ingredients for a “breakfast” option. Adding eggs doesn’t automatically make it breakfast. End rant. Try it yourself though ♂️

If you want to eat here, order through DoorDash because they seem to prioritize that over in-store customers. Personally I don’t think the 40 minute wait for small, cold, subpar tacos was worth it. Girl taking orders was nice, but kitchen way too slow for a taco joint.

Great little taco place, it’s cozy and kind of cute. Clean and with a fun laid back atmosphere. There’s one raised booth and three or four raised tables and an outdoor seating space with a gas fire pit. We had the barbarian taco, all day breakfast taco, honey lime chicken taco, pork carnitas taco and the street corn side. Total was $23.5 without tip and seemed reasonable. Only downside was that they share a building with a cannabis store and you smell it strong in the door and hallway up until you’re in the restaurant.

This is a nice clean little taco joint next to Ganja Guys in the same building. Located in midtown which is convenient. The menu is small but there are some good things to choose from. They have more than what is on the menu in the picture. Check their social media for specials and new items.
The tacos were pretty good. They were flavorful and saucey. I’ve tried one of each and have been there twice so far. The prices are best when you order 3 for $10.50. You order at the counter, pay, & then sit down. Then they will bring the food to you. There are many flavors of Jarritos sodas and they have alcoholic beverages as well.
We also ordered sides – street corn in a cup and chips & salsa. The street corn tasted good. It had house sauce, cilantro, cotija cheese, & came with a lime. The salsa we ordered was hot but did not taste super hot. The chips were really thick & super crunchy. I think I’d prefer something thinner. I just poured the salsa onto my tacos.
Overall, we enjoyed it and would go back and maybe try some other things on the menu. There is also a nice patio that would be nice to sit and have a meal on a sunny day.
Edit 10/25/21: I went back and ate the chips again and they tasted better. They weren’t too hard and looked slightly darker. They tasted freshly cooked. Much better this time.
